Currently, the best estimates place the world’s current slave population at 40.3 million people. This is the most damning admission, where a speaker pretends there isn’t a social contagion impact on small children because of their movement then is bold enough to tell the truth and say he doesn’t care.

Now that ‘trans’ is becoming cool, don’t you worry about a bandwagon effect?” The room is collectively appalled. His smile fades and he says, “No. Next question,” and moves on.

Two questioners later, evidently still piqued, he comes out with the most revealing statement of the three-day circus: “As for the concern that a child might decide to become a trans in imitation of another child, … SO WHAT?”

Yeah, so what if you pressured a 5 yr. old to ruin his life just because you live to mock God?

Gay daughter sent bishop back to twist scripture

File this under the “one more reason I’m glad I left the Methodist church” category.  Their news service published this by a retired bishop:  Gay daughter sent bishop back to Scriptures | United Methodist News Service.

He is another in a long line of “Christian” parents who twist God’s word to justify their children’s sins.  It is bad enough when lay people do it, but this phony makes the same common intellectually bankrupt arguments that pagans make.  He knows better.

And he isn’t being loving at all.  I know someone who temporarily went lesbian after leaving an abusive marriage.  While that is somewhat common, it obviously doesn’t overturn Romans 1 or the rest of the Bible.  The world – and her Christian parents — told her that Jesus was fine with it, but deep down she knew better and admitted it to me.  It was causing her great stress because she knew it was wrong, but most people didn’t have the guts to speak the truth to her.  I didn’t rant or condemn her or even raise my voice.  I just said, “You know that’s a sin, don’t you?”  And she emphatically agreed.

Nearly 35 years ago my wife, Julia, and I wrote the first Disciple Bible Study, an in-depth curriculum that eventually numbered four studies in all. Almost 3 million people around the world have taken at least one of the studies.

I took the study and taught it several times.  It was good, because it was before he went apostate.  [Side note: By the time they wrote the third study they were using obvious wolves in sheep’s clothing to undermine scripture.]

Thirty years ago our daughter Sarah shared with Julia and me that she is gay and that she had entered into a committed relationship. She came out to us when she was 27 years old. We never imagined this was anything that would touch our family. While I had never studied in depth the passages in the Bible that seem to condemn homosexuality, I felt the Bible was clear, and as a pastor and leader in the church I stood by what our United Methodist Book of Discipline said.

The Bible is quite clear, and he knows it.  It isn’t just a few verses and they aren’t unclear or unimportant.

  • 100% of the verses addressing homosexual behavior denounce it as sin in the strongest possible terms.
  • 100% of the verses referencing God’s ideal for marriage involve one man and one woman.
  • 100% of the verses referencing parenting involve moms and dads with unique roles (or at least a set of male and female parents guiding the children).
  • 0% of 31,173 Bible verses refer to homosexual behavior in a positive or even benign way or even hint at the acceptability of homosexual unions.

Now, however, I was facing this matter as a parent. The night that Sarah shared her news with us, Julia and I talked, and we were immediately at peace with knowing that her homosexuality was not a result of her upbringing.

WARNING!  Note that his first instinct was, “What did I do wrong?!”  That’s the root of these  rationalizations about the Bible.  It may not have been anything they did.  It could have been abuse or molestation by someone else or just plain old sin.  Or maybe it was a relationship issue with the parents.  But their “revelations” about what the Bible “really” says are grounded in the utterly selfish motive to absolve themselves of parental guilt.  How shameful and unloving!

We had raised all four of our children in a loving, Christ-centered home. In one way or another, all of our children have devoted themselves to a life of faith and service in the church. Sarah heard a call to mission at a young age, and over the years she has served in United Methodist roles ranging from director of an inner-city community center to religious publisher. She is a lifelong member of the church.

Apparently he also never studied the passages about wolves in sheep’s clothing, wheat/tares, etc.

The young woman before us that night wanted to be loved and accepted, but she wasn’t a troubled, tortured soul. She was happy and whole, and Julia and I believed that her sexual orientation was how God had made her. That night we learned something new about our daughter, but we loved and cherished her just the same, if not more.

Oh, so she is happy with her sin.  Never mind.  Seriously, I’ve met over 1,000 felons while doing prison ministry.  Many have no remorse.

And he “believed” it was how God made her.  Great, throw in some blasphemy while you are at it and blame God for her sin.

Of course you still love your kids if they are sinners.  Lots of pro-LBTQX types think they are playing a trump card when they ask, “What if your child was LGBTQX?”  I am blessed that my children and their spouses are all hetero and committed believers, but I’d still love them if they weren’t.  But because I love them I’d no more affirm sexual perversions than I would other sins.

Still, I knew I had some work to do. I needed to reconcile my commitment to scriptural authority with loving and accepting my daughter.

Why yes, rationalization of the opposite of what the Bible teaches is very hard work!

Frankly, I was amazed at my lifelong ignorance about homosexuality. I had spent my ministry dealing mostly with the uses, misuses, and abuses of sex among heterosexuals. But I did not understand or worry about my energetic, popular youth fellowship leaders who never went out on dates. I was grateful for the Wesleyan Service Guild women, some of whom lived together and cared for each other for 50 or 60 years. I didn’t give any thought to the private lives they must have had or even the pain that their secrets must have inflicted.

Ah, so heterosexuals abuse sex but LGBTQX people don’t.  Check.

So I began my own journey. I reached out to other families with homosexual members, and I listened to their stories of struggle in the church. And I began a more in-depth examination of the Scriptures that address the issue of homosexuality. You may be surprised to know I hadn’t fully done my homework here, but the truth is, if you have a big-picture grasp of the Bible as I do, then you will understand just how insignificant these few passages are.

Bullshit.  They aren’t insignificant, and again, there are countless passages pointing to God’s ideals.

How can I say anything in the Bible is insignificant? Because not all passages in the Bible were created equal. For example, the books of the minor prophets, such as Malachi and Obadiah, can’t be compared to the power and significance of Genesis and Exodus. There is a reason many Bibles use red letters to set Jesus’ words apart: The color highlights their importance relative to the surrounding text.

What a wicked lie.  Jesus affirmed all of the Old Testament down to verb tenses and dots, and He authorized the New Testament.  It all turned out just as He wanted it to.  The bishop implies that lesser known sections aren’t true.  How Satanic!

So keeping this understanding in mind, I took each passage that addresses homosexuality and examined its context. I looked at the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, which has been used over the centuries to claim that homosexuality is a sin — the so-called “sin of Sodom.” The angry townspeople were eager to rape and humiliate the strangers who were visiting Lot.

Yep, and they persisted even after being literally blinded, which is why you should never give into the LGBTQX lobby.

But I think it is fairly easy to see that the sin was not homosexuality but rather the townspeople’s violent inhospitality to strangers. I say “easy,” because you don’t have to look beyond the Bible to understand this. The prophet Ezekiel identified it when he wrote: “This was the guilt of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters had pride, excess of food, and prosperous ease, but did not aid the poor and needy.” In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus also implies that Sodom was guilty of ugly inhospitality.

Bzzzzt.  Ejector seat time.  This wolf knows there are other passages, such as in Jude and 2 Peter 2 that clearly show the “sin of Sodom.”  Did you catch how he didn’t refer to those and pretended they didn’t exist?  That’s because wolves — even those who write Bible studies — rely on biblical ignorance to make their case.

Jude 7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

We know, of course, that the Holiness Code in Leviticus and Deuteronomy forbids homosexual acts between men. But we forget the context: This code was designed for the specific purpose of setting the Jews apart from the Canaanites. It was not intended as a universal morality. It was peculiar to the Hebrews — and to the times. It reflected one side of the constant tension in Judaism, as well as in all religions, between exclusion and inclusion.

Wrong.  He assumes you won’t read Leviticus 18 and note how the passage was clearly condemning the Canaanites.  A long list of sins is bookended  by God saying how He is judging them for what all people know is wrong.

The Apostle Paul does graphically list sins where women have sex with women, and men with men, but again, context is everything. Paul was familiar with only two kinds of homosexual activity: when wealthy Greeks would buy young boys as slaves and sexually exploit them, and when part of the Greek-Roman world would go to male and female prostitute-priests as a form of fertility or mystery cult worship. Neither of these ancient practices, of course, has any resemblance to the loving, faithful relationships that I witness in my family and among our family friends.

Double bzzzzt.  That’s wrong on many levels.

First, note how this wolf tips his hands and assume that the Holy Spirit wasn’t involved in the writings!  That’s a common and Satanic trick of the “Christian” Left, where they quote scripture authoritatively whenever they think they agree with it but undermine it when they don’t like it.  He claims it was Paul’s alleged mistakes.  But that means scripture is wrong and the Holy Spirit wasn’t involved.  What else is wrong, and how does he know?

And he falsely assumes Paul didn’t know about those relationships.   What evidence does he offer for that claim?

The text couldn’t be more clear.  It refers to consensual relationships, not exploitive ones.  It also refers to men with men, not to men with boys.  So he tells a blatant lie when he says, “Paul was familiar with only two kinds of homosexual activity: when wealthy Greeks would buy young boys as slaves and sexually exploit them.”  The passage doesn’t mention boys, so Paul clearly knew at least one other kind of homosexual activity.  It is so plain, but he trusts that most people won’t read it.  They actually want to be misinformed so they can go along with the world.

There are also zero references to temples or prostitutes, let alone temple prostitutes.  And there are zero examples in history of lesbian temple prostitutes.  But none of that stops the bishop from repeating those fallacious sound bites.

Romans 1:26–27 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

Fixating on those words also misses the larger point that Paul was simply trying to list every sin he could think of. He wanted to show that all of us have fallen short, that we are all sinners in need of the atoning grace of God. As I reflect on the list of sins, I know not a day goes by that I’m not in need of grace.

False.  Of course we are sinners in need of grace.  But homosexual behavior was Paul’s Exhibit A in the case that people suppress the truth in unrighteousness.  And the bishop is proving his point!  He is truly without excuse.

Romans 1:18–20 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

But Jesus and his ministry concern me most.

You mean where He defined marriage as between one man and one woman?  And where he said there are just men and women?  Why do you deny that ministry?  And on the bishop’s standards, these count more because they are “red letters.”

Mark 10:6-9 But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’ ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.

Time and again, he deliberately focused on the marginalized.

Time and again He told people to repent.

The hatred and condemnation of others all seems to be the very opposite to both the action and the teachings of Jesus. He laid the groundwork for the church to accept Gentiles when he said, “I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold.”

Of course Jesus said not to hate, but that’s just a pathetic ad hominem attack by the bishop.  We don’t hate LGBTQX people, we love them enough to tell them the truth.  We’ll share the Gospel with anyone: Murderers, adulterers, LGBTQX people, thieves, the greedy, etc.  But we offer it on God’s terms: Repent and believe.

Again and again Jesus placed kindness and acceptance over custom and social norms. “Love one another,” he commanded, “as I have loved you.” He also emphasized hospitality: “When you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame and the blind. And you will be blessed.”

If we are to be Christ followers, how can we reject the LGBT community in light of Jesus’ ministry?

False dichotomy.  You aren’t rejecting them, you are inviting them on the same terms as everyone else: Repent and believe!

And yet, make no mistake, I am not condoning sin.

Liar. That’s exactly what he is doing.

Nothing in my 70 years of ministry would lead me to believe that The United Methodist Church would or should divide over these few misunderstood passages of Scripture.

It is no coincidence that most of the pro-LGBTQX lobby also deny the authority of scripture, Jesus’ exclusivity for salvation, Jesus’ divinity, and more.

I am offering this message because, I believe that Jesus is Lord of the Bible, and all of his teachings direct us to create a loving and inclusive community of faith. I ask for your prayers for the church. Lift your voice in affirmation of our great tradition and help us to find a way forward to heal, and not divide.

But he is hypocritically dividing from people who disagree with him.  I’m fine with division.  The UMC should have split long ago.  Better yet, they should have ejected the wolves who lied at their ordination vows and/or apostatized later.

Christ beckons: “As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love.”

If you love God and neighbor, you won’t lie to them about the Bible. Again:

  • 100% of the verses addressing homosexual behavior denounce it as sin in the strongest possible terms.
  • 100% of the verses referencing God’s ideal for marriage involve one man and one woman.
  • 100% of the verses referencing parenting involve moms and dads with unique roles (or at least a set of male and female parents guiding the children).

  • You said that one of the only two kinds of homosexuals Paul knew about involved exploitative relationships with men and boys.  Can you please point out where Romans 1 refers to boys?
  • You said that Paul didn’t know of other kinds of relationships.
    • What evidence do you have to prove that?
    • Even if Paul didn’t know of other types, wouldn’t the Holy Spirit have known?
  • You mention temple prostitutes.  Please show where the text refers to them.
  • You imply that the lesbian relationships involved temple prostitutes.  Please show me anywhere in recorded history that lesbian prostitutes are mentioned.  I’ll wait while you Google it.
  • And so on.

Fall Back To The Fortified Blogs! — I expect Big Tech to get more and more aggressive in shutting down conservative speech as we approach the 2020 election.  They won’t want to take any chances.  Hopefully it will backfire on them.  Even WordPress, which has usually been pretty open, deleted Chateau Heartiste (a “Red Pill” manosphere blog) and supposedly blocks you for “deadnaming” (i.e., calling “trans” people by their original names and genders).

Up to this point, the Silicon Valley oligarchs have been careful to single out the edge cases, the people they can count on Bill Kristol and other #NeverTrump “principled conservatives” to go “Ewwww! Alex Jones deserved to get deplatformed! Laura Loomer deserved to get deplatformed! Lauren Shepherd deserved to – oh, wait…” But come September of 2020, what if they decide to emulate their heroes and business partners in Beijing, and shut down anyone who isn’t sufficiently woke for them? How many of us would be thoroughly cut off if our Gmail accounts, Blogger and WordPress blogs, and our Facebook & Twitter accounts were suspended?We should be giving serious consideration to taking that power away from them.

We should have accounts on Gab and MeWe, and e-mail accounts with local ISPs or third-party vendors, even if we have to shell out a couple of bucks extra a month for it, or at least have an account with Microsoft, which doesn’t seem to be moving in lockstep with its Silicon Valley partners – yet. Here’s a useful article from Techdirt back in June listing plenty of options to avoid Google. We should have e-mail networks already set up, and updated blogrolls listing friends and allies. Maybe I’m being paranoid, but after the last few years of deplatforming, shadowbanning, monkeying with search results, and other forms of suppression, is it really paranoia? They really do seem out to get us, after all.

From Gay to Gospel: The Fascinating Story of Becket Cook — I highly encourage you to read the entire post.   It contains many important truths and is so uplifting to read – and not just about the ex-gay thing.  Note how a group of Christians politely confirmed what the Bible actually says and he respected them for it.  I’ve been saying that for years.  Also note how he hadn’t heard the real Gospel despite going to a Catholic school.  Emphasis added.

So when I came to this coffee shop six months later and saw that group of young people with their Bibles open, I started asking them questions. They explained the gospel, what they believed. I asked what their church believed about homosexuality, and they explained that they believed it is a sin. I appreciated their honesty and that they didn’t beat around the bush. But the reason I was able to accept their answer was because I had that moment in Paris. Five years earlier I would have been like, You guys are insane. You’re in the dark ages. But instead I was like, Maybe I could be wrong. Maybe this actually is a sin. So I was open to it in the moment. And then they invited me to church.

Not once. So when Tim was preaching all these things that were the exact opposite of what I thought religion was, I was like, Whoa. It all really resonated, and it prompted me to go forward at the end of the service to receive prayer. It was shocking and unexpected to me, a Road to Damascus moment. It was so powerful, so all-consuming. I was all-in.

Renowned Yale Computer Science Prof Leaves Darwinism — Glad he is reconsidering his views and hopefully leading others out of the Satanic Darwinian Evolution mindset.  He needs to understand the concept of original sin to explain his concerns about design.

Perhaps the biggest flaw with Darwinism, he writes, is how hard it would be to randomly make new functional proteins. Darwinian evolution depends a huge number of them. Our understanding of molecular biology developed after Darwin. His theory doesn’t fit well with this new understanding.

Gelernter carefully reviews the evidence, and his article provides a very helpful short guide to the problem. He cites Douglas Axe, a distinguished scientist, who has calculated the chances of hitting a stable protein that performs some useful function, and might therefore be preserved by natural selection, are only 1 in 1077. That’s just one of the many, many proteins needed for any organism.

Gelernter summarizes the evidence. “Immense is so big, and tiny is so small, that neo-Darwinian evolution is — so far — a dead loss. Try to mutate your way from 150 links of gibberish to a working, useful protein and you are guaranteed to fail. Try it with ten mutations, a thousand, a million — you fail. The odds bury you. It can’t be done.

He has plenty of other problems with Darwinism. The last one he brings up is the (neo-)Darwinian belief that “gene mutations driv[e] macro-evolution.” These can explain changes in existing forms, but not the development of new forms. The mutations are fatal, and the organism dies before it can reproduce. There are no examples of mutations that are not fatal. This Georgia Tech geneticist John F. McDonald calls “the great Darwinian paradox.

”Though he takes down Darwinism, Gelernter doesn’t propose an alternative. He doesn’t quite embrace the idea that intelligent design explains the origin of the species. He asks why a creator would have created so many doomed organisms. “Why are we so disease prone, heartbreak prone, and so on?” On the other hand, “The religion is all on the other side.” It’s the Darwinians who have become dogmatic.

The study involved researchers training a system to flag tweets containing “hate speech,” in much the same way that other universities are developing systems for eventual online use, by using several databases of tweets, some of which had been flagged by human evaluators for offensive content. “The results show evidence of systematic racial bias in all datasets, as classifiers trained on them tend to predict that tweets written in African-American English are abusive at substantially higher rates. If these abusive language detection systems are used in the field they will, therefore, have a disproportionate negative impact on African-American social media users,” the abstract continues.

Alyssa Milano killed two of her children, so she’s a hero or something

I have great news for women who have had abortions: Forgiveness and healing are available if you repent and trust in the real Jesus.  But I will mock those who are proud of their child-killing.

I mentioned this in a Roundup, but it was so ridiculous and fallacy-filled that it deserves a full post: Alyssa Milano opens up about having two abortions: ‘I knew I was not ready to be a parent.’

Remember, we on the pro-science, pro-logic side always start with the irrefutable truth that a new human child is created at fertilization.  At least that’s what all those pesky mainstream embryology textbooks and the nice people at Dictionary.com say.

Actress and women’s rights activist Alyssa Milano opened up about having two abortions in 1993 because she was not “ready to be a parent” after becoming pregnant while taking birth control pills.

Alyssa killed two living children, so she was already a parent.  Whether she was “ready” or not is irrelevant.  If she didn’t feel equipped to parent them properly, then she could have given them up for adoption instead of killing them.  But that didn’t fit with her career goals.  The article doesn’t even hint that she considered adoption.

Milano spoke of her experience on the latest episode of her podcast entitled “Sorry Not Sorry” released Monday.

I’ve done prison ministry for 13 years and have met countless felons who are not sorry for their crimes.  But they are still guilty, just like she is guilty of killing her children. Her seared conscience is not evidence of her innocence — or, as she is trying to present it, her virtue of killing her children.

“I’m Alyssa Milano and I’ve had an abortion. I control my own body,” she said.

Only a Molech-worshiping Leftist can turn child-killing into a virtue.  Yeah, she controlled her body — and the bodies of her children — right into the trash.

“I still got pregnant,” she said. “It was devastating. I was raised Catholic and was suddenly put in conflict with my faith — a faith I was coming to realize empowered only men to make every single decision of what was allowed and what was not allowed,” Milano said.

Gee, what a strong and reasoned faith she had.  So it wasn’t that she had sex out of wedlock and logical consequences followed, it was that men are bad, her faith was false and she had to kill her children. [Yes, her faith was false, but for 95 other reasons.]

The “Who’s the Boss” star said she wanted to focus on her budding film career.

Well, in that case, of course, she had to kill her children!

“I knew at that time I was not equipped to be a mother and so I chose to have an abortion. I chose,” Milano said, adding that she faced “crippling anxiety” during that time period. “It was my choice and it was absolutely the right choice for me. It was not an easy choice.”

Again, she was already a mother.  And yes, I can see how choosing to kill your children might make you anxious.  It was all about her, not her children.

“It was not something I wanted, but it was something that I needed, like most health care is.”

Now there is some extra-delusional rationalization.  As usual, Leftists put the wants of adults over the needs of children – including the need to live – but they frame their wants as needs.  No, Alyssa, you did not need to kill your children.

And abortion is the opposite of health care.  Health care is when humans don’t get crushed and dismembered.

After terminating her first pregnancy, Milano said on the podcast that she continued with her previous sexual relationship and use of birth control pills.

Slow learner.  But we should definitely do whatever she says anyway.

“A few months later, I found out I was pregnant again. I had done what I knew to do to prevent pregnancy and was still pregnant, so once again I made the right decision to end that pregnancy,” she said.

So, instead of learning from her mistakes and telling people to only have sex in a one-man/one-woman marriage, she kills another child.  And, of course, it was the right decision because she said it was.  She was having fun with the extramarital sex, so killing her children was worth it.

Milano told her audience that she would not have her acting career or her activist platform had she not made the decision to get abortions.

Yep.  If she hadn’t killed her children, she wouldn’t have time to tell other women how important it is to be able to kill their children.

“Fifteen years after that first love had fizzled, my life would be completely lacking all its great joys,” she said. “I would never had been free to be myself — and that’s what this fight is all about: freedom.”

More delusion.  Yeah, she’s some kind of superhero, fighting for freedom by slaughtering her own children.  But aren’t we all glad for her great joys?! Oddly, I’m not getting all choked up here.

She went on to say that she would not have been able to have her two “beautiful, perfect, loving, kind and inquisitive children” with husband David Bugliari.

Yeah, because she knew the two children she killed would have been ugly, imperfect, unkind, and non-inquisitive . . . or something.  They obviously deserved what they got.

What if this husband cheats on his child-killing wife, and they get divorced? Does that mean these living children will be retroactive “mistakes?”

And I wonder how her living children really feel about this.  Of course, they would probably publicly defend their mother, but deep down, shouldn’t it bother them that she was a cold-blooded killer of their step-siblings?

Milano has spearheaded efforts to push back against strict abortion bans passed by several Republican-majority state legislatures in recent months, including a bill that banned abortions once a fetus has a detectable heartbeat in Georgia.

How noble!  Who cares if the children have beating hearts?  If mommy wants them dead, then they need to be killed – and you all should have to pay for it!

Milano also called for a sex strike in response to the Republican Party’s “undeniable war on women.” 

I love how she got roasted for noting that not having out-of-wedlock sex would reduce abortions.  Hey, we agree!  I don’t think Alyssa is playing 4-D chess here.

And one day, some of these old, lonely, childless women will realize that the real “war on women” was waged by the Left.  They’ll regret buying the lie that having sex with lots of men and killing their offspring was such a bright idea, especially when no one wanted to wife them up once they hit the “wall.”

“I refuse to let anyone else’s bullshit morality force me into a life of premarital celibacy. I refuse to live in the narrative that sexual pleasure is for men and that women exist to deliver that pleasure,” she said on her abortions on the podcast. “Nobody will say that he was at fault for enjoying sex with me, but you can be damned sure that the men enacting these laws think less of me for deriving the same pleasure from him.”

Her straw-man arguments to excuse her sluttiness are pathetic.  I know a “few” Republicans and can’t think of one that wants to deny sexual pleasure to women.  But even if that wasn’t a lie, it is a silly non sequitur to pretend that anti-abortion laws aren’t really about saving the lives of children.

In summary, this professional Leftist insists that killing two of her children was noble, but Republicans are mean.  Duly noted.

And will your ideas of what is ‘good’ be different from year to year based on your experience, culture trends, popular opinion etc and furthermore will you continue year by year to lead others into your idea of goodness even though it is not absolute? I’m amazed that so many Christians want the benefits of the kingdom of God, but with the caveat that they themselves will be the King.
