Abortion and “institutional racism”

Via Institutional Racism: The term “institutional racism” describes societal patterns that have the net effect of imposing oppressive or otherwise negative conditions against identifiable groups on the basis of race or ethnicity.

The “Christian” Left loves to prattle about “institutional racism,” but if anything they are the worst culprits.  Exhibit A: Their pro-abortion policies.  What could be more oppressive or negative than blacks being killed in the womb at a rate three times that of whites?

Democrats are officially pro-abortion, not pro-choice. Why? Because they want taxpayer-funded abortions, laws requiring all health care plans to cover abortions, and no restrictions on anything, including “partial-birth abortion” (aka infanticide), late term abortions, gender-selection abortions, parental notification, etc.

From their platform:

The Democratic Party strongly and unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade and a woman’s right to make decisions regarding her pregnancy, including a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay. We oppose any and all efforts to weaken or undermine that right.

Unwanted black human three times more likely to be killed than whites!  Taxpayer-funded abortions — which the Democrats want so badly that they almost lost Obamacare over it, and that which their official platform calls for — would take that rate even higher.

If the situations were reversed and conservatives supported abortion in the same way and liberals opposed it, we’d be hearing nonstop about how racist and genocidal conservatives are.

Whenever the “Christian” Left (or any Leftists) play the pathetic race card, remind them of these facts.

If they aren’t anti-abortion, they aren’t pro-black.  They are the worst perpetrators of “institutional racism.”

They agree on lots.  Among other things, they insist that:

  1. Jesus is not divine
  2. Jesus is not the only way to salvation
  3. The Bible is not the word of God

Here is where they differ: The first two have beliefs consistent with what they call themselves.  The third lie for a living.  Poster boys of the the “Christian” Left: Mark “Jesus is not my God” Sandlin and Chuck “Jesus is not the only way but He sure is a bigot” Currie, and Jim “the Gospel is all about wealth redistribution” Wallis.

Run, don’t walk, from false teachers who deny the essentials of the faith.  Anyone who follows people like that is obviously making a god in his own image.

Beware of “Christian” publishers

Sarah Young’s “Jesus Calling” was full of the nonsense you get from people like the UCC (Unitarians Counterfeiting Christ) and their “God is still speaking” slogan.  Yes, He is still speaking through his eternal word, one for all delivered to the saints.  But he isn’t speaking through those that deny what He said originally and who mock him at every turn.

What if you are a major publisher like Thomas Nelson and you suddenly discover that your  mega best-selling book Jesus Calling was inspired by a channeled New Age book? And what if you find out that some of the “messages” your author “received” from her “Jesus” weren’t really from Jesus because they contradict what the real Jesus Christ says in the Bible? And what if your best-selling author has introduced a host of other problems in her book that your usually sharp editors had somehow overlooked? What do you do given these issues are already in the pages of ten million previously published books? If you want to be fair to your readers, you deal honestly with these problems as they are brought to your attention. However, if you are more interested in protecting your product rather than in protecting the truth, you do everything in your power to make these problems disappear. One thing is for sure. Sarah Young and Thomas Nelson have made some of their problems suddenly disappear in recent editions of Jesus Calling—most especially in a special 10th anniversary edition of Jesus Calling released on September 30, 2014.

Catholics treat Mary as if she is the Holy Spirit

And that is a huge error.

I am used to seeing Catholics use arguments for praying to Mary and other “saints” to ask them to pray to God for us.  I think those are un-biblical and anti-biblical for many reasons.  But a friend put a meme on my Facebook page with this that had an even more obvious error:

Hail Mary, poor and humble Woman, Blessed by the Most High! Virgin of hope, dawn of a new era, We join in your song of praise, to celebrate the Lord’s mercy, to proclaim the coming of the Kingdom and the full liberation of humanity.

Hail Mary, lowly handmaid of the Lord, Glorious Mother of Christ! Faithful Virgin, holy dwelling-place of the Word, Teach us to persevere in listening to the Word, and to be docile to the voice of the Spirit, attentive to his promptings in the depths of our conscience and to his manifestations in the events of history.

Hail Mary, Woman of sorrows, Mother of the living! Virgin spouse beneath the Cross, the new Eve, Be our guide along the paths of the world. Teach us to experience and to spread the love of Christ, to stand with you before the innumerable crosses on which your Son is still crucified.

Holy Mary, Mother of believers, Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us. Amen.

Carefully note these phrases: “Teach us . . .Be our guide . . .help us . . .Teach us . . . ” These are all roles of the Holy Spirit, not Mary. This prayer is blasphemous and an indictment of the Mariolatry of the Roman Catholic Church.  Their other arguments for praying to the dead can be thoroughly refuted as well (see Satan knows where your lost keys are), but this prayer by a Pope alone shows how wrong they are on this topic.

If you ascribe any roles of the Trinity to anyone other the Father, Son or Holy Spirit, it is un-Christian.

P.S. As Neil Kirkland noted in the comments, Muslims make a similar error with Mary, thinking she is part of the Trinity instead of the Holy Spirit.

Fact of history: The “Christian” Left literally fails at economics.

This is not an exaggeration: “Christian” Leftists literally fail at basic economics.  They know as much about it as they do Christian theology.  My dog does better at economics tests than them.

Yet they pretend to understand the economy!

Almost every problem we have in this country can be attributed to 33 years of Reaganomics. It’s a failed philosophy and a failed policy. The race to the bottom for the US economy started in 1981. We’re now just a burned out shell of what we once were. All the value our economy once had has been systematically siphoned to the top and baked in to the top of the cake. Very soon the middle of the cake, which is empty, will collapse if we don’t wake up.

Their hyperbole was so bad that one of their soon-to-be-banned commentators reminded them that Clinton was President for 8 years.  Of course, the Republican Congress kept him from implementing plans, and that along with the PC boom (which had nothing to do with politics, btw), the decade went well.

I’ll add that Obama has been in charge for 6 years, and black unemployment has gotten worse than that of white people.  So he is obviously racist!  In the business world you don’t get to blame your predecessor for 6 years.  You actually have to accomplish things.

Sometimes I think the race card is the only one the “Christian” Left has

race cardThe race card is evil on many levels.  It not only is intellectually bankrupt (because we would have LOVED Obama’a policies if only Hillary had proposed them, right?*), but it shows the malignant, hypocritical nature of those who are the last ones who want racial harmony.  These poverty pimps would be out of business!

The “Christian” Left played it again today.

This hostility and animosity toward this president is, in fact, larger than this president. This is about systems of power and the power of symbols. It is about preserving traditional power (male, old. rich, white) and destroying emerging symbols that threaten that power.

Sadly, their leaders (all white males, by the way!) dupe their followers into drinking the Haterade.  They still haven’t celebrated wins by Mia Love, Joni Ernst, Tim Scott, Nikki Haley and more.  Heck, they still haven’t celebrated Clarence Thomas being on the Supreme Court!  They know we aren’t racist or sexist but they shamelessly play those cards anyway.  But that’s no surprise — they worship the father of lies.

Their timing was spectacular.  I just got back from a funeral for the husband of one of my most trusted friends.  They, and 98% of the people there, are black.  And I loved every bit of the service.  I love diversity in the real sense but not when it comes to the essentials of Christianity.  Those are take-it-or-leave-it, and the “Christian” Left left it along ago.

If the pastors and the people there encountered the “Christian” Left they would eviscerate their faulty anti-Christian theology until their throats were raw.  Everyone who spoke at the service noted that it wasn’t just about Larry (the deceased), it was about how we all must account for our lives and we will either die with Jesus or without him.  We are all racing towards eternity and in the end only the real Jesus will matter.  They noted with boldness that Jesus was the only way.  Their trust in his sovereignty was a joy to behold.

I call the race card the concession speech of the “Christian” Left.  It is evil, fallacious and their go-to move when they are feeling desperate.  You know they are feeling the pressure when they use it, especially after the results of the last election.  Mercifully, more and more blacks are leaving the Democrats’ plantation.  After 50 years of empty promises and nothing but lost jobs and an abortion rate three times that of whites, many are breaking free.  Hallelujah!

*Of course, with Hillary they’d say we disagreed because she’s a she.  And we definitely agreed with everything Bill ever did . . .

How the haters at the “Christian” Left keep people from Christ

First of all, I know God is sovereign and will reach whom He wants to reach when He wants to reach them.  He may even make some of the “Christian” Left spiritually alive someday!

But the haters at the “Christian” Left Facebook page just keep trotting out fallacious memes about how real Christians lead people away from the real church.

8 Ways Christian Fundamentalists Convert People to Agnosticism or Atheism 1.) Gay Baiting; 2.) Prooftexting; 3.) Misogyny; 4.) Hypocrisy; 5.) Disgusting and Immoral Behavior; 6.) Science Denial; 7.) Political Meddling; 8.) Intrusion.

I don’t even know what “gay baiting” means.  The “Christian” Left would lead gays to Hell by telling them they don’t have to repent.

Proof-texting is a funny claim from a group that can’t even get their favorite verses right (i.e., pro-abortion extremists who reflexively refer to the “least of these).

Misogyny?  Nope, we just agree with God on the role of women in church leadership and we think men and women have different roles.

Hypocrisy?  You mean their hypocritical judging of others for judging and hating others for (allegedly) hating?

Disgusting and immoral behavior?  You mean like anal sex?  Or like killing children in the womb?  No, they have a monopoly on those.

Science denial?  We reject the bad philosophy that perverts one sub-branch of one of the dozens of branches of science.  And we fully support the scientific truth that the pro-abortion extremist “Christian” Left denies: That a new human being is created at fertilization.

Political meddling?  More hypocrisy from the politics-disguised-as-religion “Christian” Left.  That’s all they do!  We’d rather preach about Jesus and him crucified and risen.

Intrusion?  Whatever that means!

That’s odd, no one from the “Christian” Left used the “shellfish argument” when Obama quoted the Old Testament

Obama twisted scripture to support his illegal move on illegal aliens.  He pretended that “not oppressing” meant that the Israelites took unlimited people into their land and bent to the customs of the immigrants, while giving them free food/clothes/shelter/healthcare and let them take the jobs of the poorest Israelites and to suppress their wages.

But here’s what else went wrong: If you share an Old Testament verse in context the “Christian” Left will immediately ask why you eat shrimp, don’t stone your kids, etc.  Go to their Facebook page any day and you’ll find something like this (I went there just now and saw more than one like this):

Oh, yes, right. “Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.” Leviticus 19:28, yet I am sure that they had shrimp cocktail at the last grape juice party, “These you may eat, of all that are in the waters. Everything in the waters that has fins and scales, whether in the seas or in the rivers, you may eat.” Leviticus 11:9, while they were wearing that cheap cotton/poly blend suit “Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.” Leviticus 19:19

The shrimp / shellfish argument is full of holes but is appealing to many because so few bother to study the passages. I address six serious problems with it in flaws of the shellfish argument. The short version: There were different Hebrew words translated as abomination. They were used differently in the individual verses and were used very differently in broader contexts. The associated sins had radically different consequences and had 100% different treatments in the New Testament. And the claim that Christians are inconsistent if they say homosexual behavior is a sin if they don’t also avoid shellfish, mixed fibers, etc. would mean that they couldn’t complain about bestiality, child sacrifice, adultery, etc.  The longer version.

So what gives?  Does the “Christian” Left take the Old Testament at face value or not?  (Even if you assumed Obama got his passage right, which he didn’t.)

Hypocrites.

When will the “Christian” Left discover what their BFF really believes?

The “Christian” Left had another fluff post on their love affair with the Pope, and their normal straw-man argument that conservatives don’t want any safety net in society. We just know how much abuse occurs in current structure and how it is mainly a vote-buying scheme of the Left.  We also know how the current system traps people for generations and encourages broken families.

More significantly, in their zeal to attach their enemies, they misinterpreted what the Pope said in caption (emphasis added):

YOU pray for the hungry.  Then YOU feed them. . . .

Got that?  He didn’t say, “You beg Caesar to take from neighbor A by force to redistribute to neighbor B.”  But the “Christian” Left sees what they want to see.

They keep quoting their arch-enemy, the anti-abortion, anti-“same-sex marriage,” anti-women priests, pro-divinity of Jesus Pope as he describes how their pro-abortion, pro-LGBTQX, anti-Jesus’ divinity, Bible-mocking, etc. rigid ideologies are indicators of them having a serious illness. Oh, they’ll say they like him because he wants to do some good deeds, but the Rotary Club can do that. I can’t help but notice that the Catholics haven’t sold their hundreds of millions (even billions?) of artwork to help the poor.

The Pope also knows that abortion and “same-sex marriage” are wrong (and he is correct on those!).  He also “knows” that Mariolotry, indulgences, Papal infallibility, purgatory, works-righteousness and more are “true.”

It is going to be a tough break-up when the “Christian” Left discovers what the Pope really believes!

Hopefully they and their new BFF, the Pope, will all repent and believe in the real Gospel one day.

Lies about lies from “Christian” Left

The deadly hypocrisy of the “Christian” Left knows no bounds.  Right after I read How Many Lies Have Democrats Told To Sabotage The War on Terror? I saw this cartoon from their Facebook page.  The additional irony is that the Vietnam was sold on lies — Democrat lies. But the Iraq war was not.  But the “Christian” Left, like their god, relies on lies to advance their agenda.
