“Christian” Left post-election meltdown: Pass the popcorn.

Note: I’ll continue to update this at the bottom.  Their “Oh, the humanity” hypocrisy and drama won’t end soon.  Is it a sin to be intoxicated from drinking “Christian” Leftist tears?  Because they are truly schadenfreudelicious!

It couldn’t happen to a bunch of more ravenous wolves.  The “Christian” Leftists are really over the top after Trump’s win.  While even Hillary was able to be a good loser in her speech (although that may have just been a “Please don’t put me in jail, Donald!” message) and Obama has thus far been gracious to Trump because of how Bush was so gracious to Obama, those are far better than the reactions of the rest of the “Christian” Left.

They’re going to reverse and erase everything President Obama did. They don’t even try to keep it a secret.

No kidding! I can’t believe they actually typed that. Obama and the media repeatedly lied about Obamacare and more, used the IRS to punish his enemies, tried to destroy the military, expanded perversions 24×7 and more. Yes, we’ll want to reverse and erase that.

Donald Trump’s win tells people of color they aren’t welcome in America

Nope. Hateful, racist comments like that are what helped Trump win. Why did so many people, including Democrats, vote for Trump? Because the Left said that no matter what they did they were evil racists. Nice move, champs.  I didn’t vote for Trump or Hillary, but the “Christian” Left made me want to vote for Trump.

And the Left’s unhinged hatred for all things conservative came back to bite them.  Even a mild-mannered centrist like President Bush had to be denounced as Hitler, etc. and blamed for every ill in the country (most caused by the Left, like the housing bubble).  Eventually people were immunized to the hyperbole.  Their shrill hatred of Trump just bounced off people.

Can someone please explain how and why we’re supposed to polite and supportive about the fact that 20,000,000 people are going to be kicked off of health insurance, including members of the TCL admin team?

Yes, I can: There is nothing in the Constitution or the Bible saying that you get to have the government — at the point of a gun — take money from your neighbor to give to you.   Where is their compassion for all those getting bankrupted by the outrageous costs of Obamacare?  Oh, right, they don’t care about others, just themselves.  Check.  We’ve got lots of great ideas about making health care more affordable, but the Democrats did Obamacare all on their own.  Oh, and we donate our own money to help people.

Has there ever been a time when a presidential election result struck fear into the hearts of millions of children? How could Trump voters be this cruel?

Wow.  Those Molech-worshiping ghouls couldn’t be more tone-deaf.  First, it was their shrill media striking fear into the kids.  Trump just said he wanted to protect our borders, as any sane country would.  And never forget that the “Christian” Left loudly and proudly insists that you can not only kill your children up to their first breath for any reason, but that your neighbors should have to pay for it.  And then they pretend to care about children?!  Another 3,500 children got crushed and dismembered today, without anesthetic, because of the compassionate, loving “Christian” Left.

One of their posts was a video from serial liar and false teacher Chuck “Jesus is not the only way but He sure is a bigot” Currie.  His first fear-mongering point was that women may no longer be able to kill their unwanted children up to their first breath.  To the “Christian” Left, that’s terrible.  He blasphemously said that Jesus agrees with him!  And of course he conflated legal and illegal immigration.  And he got preachy about Trump’s issues while ignoring how Currie himself has always bragged about taking his young daughters to gay pride parades.

They also denied that Trump has a mandate, even though Obama & the Leftists went from owning the Presidency, House and Senate to losing them all.

Then they plugged a “prayer to heal the nation” that includes a laundry list of false teachers as well as Muslims (because the “Christian” Left and Muslims both pray to the same god — i.e., the god of this world).

That’s why Christians are so different from the “Christian” Left.  Our beliefs about Jesus, the Bible, etc. drive our thinking and behavior.  Some Christians couldn’t vote for Trump out of conscience, and some did to avoid a much greater evil in Hillary. But the “Christian” Left wanted Hillary and Bernie because of their evils: Unrestricted, taxpayer-funded abortions, forced wealth redistribution, pushing every kind of sexual perversion, eliminating free speech, eliminating the ability to defend oneself, and so much more.  They thought her felonies were no big deal.

If they want to vent, they should direct it at their beloved Leftist media and the DNC, who worked overtime to give us Donald Trump.  But their creation was too powerful and turned on them.

And of course the “Christian” Left used the election loss to beg for money for their site. Apparently it costs lots of money to promote abortion, sexual perversions and heresies on Facebook.  Maybe if they abandoned those evils and contributed to society then they’d have more money and could help their neighbors.

It was surreal to go back to their site, as I hadn’t visited in a very long time.  Such a contrast to the authentic Christian pages I saw, where people would critique Hillary and Trump but always trust in the sovereignty of God and the real Gospel.  But the “Christian” Left quivers as those who have no real hope.  They are lost, and they somehow manage to be wolves and snowflakes at the same time.  Matthew 7:15–16 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?

May God grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will (2 Tim. 2).

Human suffering on a massive scale will soon commence and the corporate media will ignore it. To add to the massive suffering most economists say Trump’s economic policies will crash the economy.

Yep.  Dogs and cats, living together, etc. will happen if, say, you appoint judges to the Supreme Court who think decisions should be based on the Constitution, if you prevent elected officials from immediately becoming lobbyists when they leave office, etc.  Most of what Trump wants are things that Bernie Sanders would say.

Anyone on this page who thinks the Donald Trump Presidency is “God’s will” please leave the page now. Most people who say that are full on hypocrites anyway. They apply Romans 13 to Republican politicians only and dismiss it completely when Democrats are elected.

The only way this is “God’s will” is if God is allowing the tribulation to begin. Conservative ideology is the opposite of God’s will. All it produces is human suffering except for the rich and the Military Industrial Complex. It’s dog eat dog, the strongest shall prevail, crush the least of these social Darwinism. It is the opposite of every single thing Jesus taught.

They are so thin-skinned that they ban anyone who thinks it is wrong to kill children up their first breath and to force others to pay for it.  And they don’t understand our views. Countless Christians I know have said that either Trump or Clinton would be God’s will and his judgment on us.  And their social Darwinism comment is priceless.  They literally preach about Darwin in their “Christian” Left churches on “Darwin Day” and mock those who deny it.  Then they pull up the drawbridge when we point out that social Darwinism would necessarily follow from their worldview.  And these pro-abortion ghouls live out their social Darwinism daily!  Trump was a moral freak for mocking the handicapped guy, but the “Christian” Left would have supported that guy being killed in the womb for his disability.

It is also helpful to note what the “Christian” Left is not celebrating, as it highlights how cynical and hypocritical they are.  Did they note that Tim Scott was elected to a full term in South Carolina?  Nope, doesn’t fit into their evil race-baiting meme.  Did they note that Trump’s campaign manager was the first female in that role — and that the evil Trump picked her?!  Nope, doesn’t fit into their misogyny meme.

Final thought: The Left has actively opposed the 1st Amendment for years, trying to shut down Christian and conservative thought by calling it “hate speech.”  Will they re-think that precious Amendment when Trump tries to control the press?  These folks are as bad as the Republicans when they get in power.  They can’t think 15 minutes into the future so they forget that the exceptions they make could haunt them later.  Welcome to the world you created, Leftists. 2,000 year later, Gamaliel is still right.

Shortly after they saw Jesus killed on the cross, the Apostles were still in Jerusalem preaching the Good News.  As usual, they are being beaten and jailed for not watering down their message.

This is where Gamaliel comes in and makes an interesting observation.

And here we are.  The plan and undertaking was of God, and it still advances despite the continued opposition of man and Satan.  And it will keep accomplishing exactly what God wants it to.

And did you see how they rejoiced at suffering dishonor for the name of Christ, and how they did not cease speaking the whole truth?

Acts 5 = worst church marketing program ever?

Short version: If God can grow his church while striking two generous but deceptive donors dead, then maybe — just maybe! — He doesn’t need slick, manipulative, man-made “church growth” programs.  Just preach the Good News inside and outside the church.

The title is sarcastic, of course.  The church grew dramatically even with this not-so-seeker-sensitive approach where God kills Ananias and Sapphira on the spot for lying to the Holy Spirit (and if that wasn’t enough, the next passage is about how the Apostles were arrested and beaten for proclaiming Jesus). It is unfortunate that mainline, “seeker-sensitive” and “emergent” churches didn’t study it more carefully before watering down their doctrine so badly.  When leaders feel that they must twist or ignore the word of God to advance the kingdom it is evidence of weak or non-existent faith.

Acts 4:32–5:11 Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold and laid it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need. Thus Joseph, who was also called by the apostles Barnabas (which means son of encouragement), a Levite, a native of Cyprus, sold a field that belonged to him and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property, and with his wife’s knowledge he kept back for himself some of the proceeds and brought only a part of it and laid it at the apostles’ feet. But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but to God.” When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and breathed his last. And great fear came upon all who heard of it. The young men rose and wrapped him up and carried him out and buried him. After an interval of about three hours his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. And Peter said to her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” And she said, “Yes, for so much.” But Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” Immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. When the young men came in they found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband. And great fear came upon the whole church and upon all who heard of these things.

In the midst of the explosive church growth we read this cautionary tale.  Some people read it as the early Christians being communistic, but that isn’t the point at all.  As always, we must read carefully and in context.

The passage describes the general behavior of believers but it doesn’t say God commanded this (“no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own.”). 

Peter didn’t say that Ananias and Sapphira were obligated to donate anything at all: “While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal?“

The sin wasn’t in not giving enough, it was lying to God.   This was a serious thing, especially when the church was forming.  They needed purity and honesty, just like we do today.  Just because we are in the age of grace doesn’t mean that God doesn’t take sin seriously. 

Satan was defeated at the cross in an ultimate sense, but he was and is still active in tempting Christians and non-Christians. 

Despite this event, the church continued to grow.  Consider how lax church discipline is in the U.S. today.  I’m not wishing for judgments like those again Ananias and Sapphira, but the lack of discipline has let all kinds of false teachers in the church and corrupted our witness. 

Again, this passage was not a Biblical command to never own property.  Saying your possessions aren’t your own doesn’t mean anyone can come take them, it is recognizing that ultimately they all come from God.  We aren’t giving him anything He didn’t give us in the first place.

Other passages round out the New Testament guidance on giving, notably 2 Corinthians 9:6-7:

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

We don’t need deception to spread the Gospel.  We need the truth.  We should share it as ambassadors, but we should share it without apology.  If you distort the message to appeal to spiritually dead people, then don’t be surprised when your church gets off track.

The investigation looking into possible pay-for-play interaction between Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the Foundation has been going on for more than a year. Led by the white collar crime division, public corruption branch of the criminal investigative division of the FBI.The Clinton Foundation investigation is a, quote, “very high priority.” Agents have interviewed and reinterviewed multiple people about the Foundation case, and even before the WikiLeaks dumps, agents say they have collected a great deal of evidence. Pressed on that, one sources said, quote, “a lot of it,” and “there is an avalanche of new information coming every day.”Some of it from WikiLeaks, some of it from new emails. The agents are actively and aggressively pursuing this case. They will be going back to interview the same people again, some for the third time.

I hope this is true. While the email felonies and resulting cover-up felonies are 10 times as bad as anything Nixon ever dreamed of, the Clinton Foundation sell-out of our national security is treasonous and even more serious. In some countries you’d get the death penalty for just one of those infractions. And selling her influence was obviously the aim of the foundation.

I run an Internal Audit group, and to ensure real and perceived independence my employees aren’t allowed to take anything from anyone, ever. Not a lunch, not a t-shirt, not a pencil. I know human nature and the law of reciprocity.  Even the Hare Krishnas knew that if they gave you a flower — even if you knew they were trying to manipulate you with it! — that you’d be more likely to listen to them.  People might be tempted to go easy on an audit if someone has given them a gift.  And even if they didn’t, people might think that was the case and it would undermine our perception.
So for Hillary to take in tens of millions of $$ and pretend it wasn’t for personal gain is ridiculous — whether the FBI investigates or not. No rational person would want to give her even more power, along with a message that she truly is above the law.  Yet the Left — including the “Christian” Left — doesn’t care about this obvious and egregious abuse of power.  Why?  Because they love abortion, LGBTQX perversions and wealth redistribution and they hate the 1st and 2nd Amendments.

Here are the latest “Christians” who just “happened” to switch views to agree with the world right as it profited them the most.  Normally I’d be charitable and say he was just mistaken, but he didn’t leave that option open.  Via: The Hatmakers double down on “holy” homosexual “marriage” – Berean Research

To be clear…Jen and I are 100% on the same page regarding her recent interview about our love and hope for the LGBTQ community. This is a journey we have been on together. We both believe a same-sex marriage, as a life-long monogamous commitment, can be holy before God.He explained that his “shift” was the result of studying Scripture and prayer:Every verse in the bible that is used to condemn a “homosexual” act is written in the context of rape, prostitution, idolatry, pederasty, military dominance, an affair, or adultery. It was always a destructive act. It was always a sin committed against a person. And each type of sexual interaction listed was an abuse of God’s gift of sex and completely against His dream for marriage to be a lifelong commitment of two individuals increasingly and completely giving themselves to one another as Christ did for the church.But not one of these scriptures was written in the context of marriage or civil union (which simply did not exist at this time).

Yes, and square circles didn’t exist then or now, just like “same-sex marriage” will always be an oxymoron.

Hatmaker is a liar. Start with Romans 1:26–27: For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

That passage doesn’t mention temples, prostitutes or temple prostitutes — and there are no lesbian temple prostitutes in recorded history.  It mentions women/women and men/men, not pederasty, military or abusive relationships.  The men were consumed with passion for one another.  And so on.  All his arguments fail right there, but far too many Christians will agree with Hatmaker and the world because that is easier than siding with Jesus.

The Bible rest of the Bible also couldn’t be more clear. Bible-believing Christians and even two out of the three types of pro-gay people* (religious or not) can see these truths:

– 100% of the verses addressing homosexual behavior describe it as sin in the clearest and strongest possible terms.
– 100% of the verses referring to God’s ideal for marriage involve one man and one woman.
– 100% of the verses referencing parenting involve moms and dads with unique roles (or at least a set of male and female parents guiding the children).
– 0% of 31,173 Bible verses refer to homosexual behavior in a positive or even benign way or even hint at the acceptability of homosexual unions of any kind. There are no exceptions for “committed” relationships.
– 0% of 31,173 Bible verses refer to LGBT couples parenting children.

Having said that, I believe that Christians should support and encourage those who are fighting same-sex attraction. And no one needs to grandstand on the issue before getting to the Good News of the cross.

And for a group that loves to argue from silence**, isn’t it odd that their God just “forgot” to give just one example of the kind of unions the Hatmakers et al think are so blessed?

*The three general types of pro-gay theology people:

1. “The Bible says homosexuality is wrong but it isn’t the word of God.” (Obviously non-Christians)
2. “The Bible says it is wrong but God changed his mind and is only telling the theological Left.” (Only about 10 things wrong with that.)
3. “The Bible is the word of God but you are just misunderstanding it” (Uh, no, not really.)
**The argument that Jesus never said anything about homosexual behavior (or abortion, etc.) fails on many levels. If a church leader uses it you can be confident that he or she is ignorant and/or malicious.

Short version: Yes, He did say something about it, but the theological Left ignores or distorts it as they do with many things about Jesus and his teachings. Note how Jesus defeats oxymoronic “same-sex marriage,” same-sex parenting, transgenderism and even Darwinian evolution in one simple passage. No true follower of him should disagree on any of those topics.

Matthew 19:4–5 He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?”

Arguing from silence is a logical fallacy.

Jesus is God and part of the Trinity that inspired all scripture.

He supported the Old Testament law to the last letter.

The “red letters” weren’t silent on these topics in the sense that they reiterated what marriage and murder were.

He emphasized many other important issues that these Leftist theologians completely ignore (Hell, his divinity, his exclusivity, etc.).

He was equally “silent” on issues that these folks treat as having the utmost importance (capital punishment, war, welfare, universal health care, taxpayer-funded abortions, etc.).

He was a devout Jew and upholder of the law, so the burden is on the pro-gay theology side: Where is that verse when Jesus condones homosexuality?

He didn’t specifically mention rape, child abuse, pedophilia, bestiality and other obvious sins though that wouldn’t justify them.

Abortion and homosexual behavior simply weren’t hot topics for 1st century Jews. They actually thought children were a blessing and they had laws against homosexual behavior.

And the Gospels never claimed to include everything He said. John specifically notes that the whole world couldn’t hold it all! (John 21:25).

And Jesus never said anything about the “sin” of criticizing homosexual behavior, so it must be OK!
