Roundup

DR?  More like DNR.  We had a family trip planned for the Dominican Republic for later this year.  The deaths and illnesses were bad enough, but when the government started glossing over the issues and forbidding some testing that was the last straw.

Didn’t watch the Dem debates, but glad to see they are all going on record for taxpayer-funded abortions up to the child’s first breath, open borders, free medical care for illegals, gun-grabbing, etc.  Those should help the Republicans across the board.  If all the Dem candidates for President are so Leftist, it should be easy to dismiss any Dem candidate in the country.

Good News: More Young People Are “Uncomfortable” Around LGBT — This is indeed good news.  The propaganda has limits.

Christians Call For Boycott Of Fruity Pebbles For Blatant Support Of Pride Month | The Babylon Bee — It is about time!

In Emergency Bill, House Dems Vote To Send More Fake Tears To Address Border Crisis | The Babylon Bee — Good dig at faux-life Republicans at the end.

“The best way to address a humanitarian crisis is to take a photo op showing how compassionate you are,” said Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. “Rather than trying to address the monetary needs of those trying to handle the flood of immigrants coming over the border, we will simply fly down there and cry, peeking to make sure the photographers are looking at us the whole time.”

Though the two ladies have sometimes found themselves at odds over other policies, Nancy Pelosi agreed with Ocasio-Cortez’s approach to the problem.”You can’t just spend your way out of a crisis like this—you have to virtue-signal your way out of it,” Pelosi said.

The Senate is not expected to sign off on the bill, though Republican senators suggested they might be able to come to a compromise if they’re allowed to commit millions more tears to abortion without doing anything to actually stop it.

We’re gonna need a lot of millstones to clean this up . . .

Drag Queen Story Time Video: “This is What Demonic Possession Looks Like” — Yet these events are energetically supported by the Left — including the “Christian” Left.

Once again, Project Veritas exposes crooks — this time, the ones at Google.

Crooks: But they edited it!

Project Veritas: Here’s the full version, suckers.

Crooks: But they edited it!

Media: We know the truth but side with the crooks.  They edited it!

Lather, rinse, repeat.

FANtastic news: Naps make you smarter, nicer — I’m a big fan of naps, so I’m happy for this evidence.  Alternate take: Without the naps I’d be even duller and meaner.

Molech-worshiping ghouls are so charming.

ICYMI: Elizabeth Warren is all-in on ending private health insurance — This won’t play well in the general election.  Oh, and it is a horrifically bad idea.

There are nearly 180 million people with private coverage they purchased on their own or through their employers, and every one of them would lose their plans under the one Warren just endorsed. Thus, this is an incredibly risky strategy that may prove myopically tailored to her primary battle with Sanders. The truth is people with private coverage are overwhelmingly satisfied with their healthcare, and support for the vague concept of “Medicare for all” turns into significant opposition once people are told it would eliminate private insurance.

Guess what, colleges? Two-thirds of your grads regret their diploma, costs, major — People need to seriously re-think college plans.

  1. I saw the bit about kids being generally more uncomfortable around LGBT people reported elsewhere. I found your link more to my liking for their unabashed use of the term “sodomite” throughout the article. I posted it on FB just to yank the chains of the lefty enablers. I’ve no doubt they hate that term. I’ve no doubt they need to hear it often in relation to the behavior they enable. Yanking chains in this way ain’t very Christian, but I’m quite finished trying to “be nice” to those who are gonna demonize me anyway. So I’ll tell the truth in whatever manner I choose (which isn’t really “not nice” in the first place) and let them whine if they like.
