Don’t you just love passages like this?  1 Thessalonians 2:13 And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers.

Let’s break it down.

And we also thank God constantly for this

Look how joyful and grateful they are!  What are they so happy about?

that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but as what it really is, the word of God

Ah, they are so glad that other believes hold the same view about scripture as they do, namely, that it is the word of God.

which is at work in you believers.

And they know that the word actually changes believers!

Now contrast that with the “Christian” Left, which literally mocks the word of God.  They deny it is all from God (and sometimes that any of it is from God).  Just watch them try to rationalize away things that Paul said because that was “just Paul and he didn’t know better.”  Notice how they assume it was not from God.  They worship a weak and incompetent god who can’t even communicate with his people.

And of course they’ll deny that this passage is from God!

I hope those people repent and believe someday.  They are really missing out now, and will miss out much more in eternity.
