More gifts from the Left!

What now?  Just that the Left is on record saying that felons should be able to vote — possibly even the Boston Marathon Bomber.  Source: Moonbattery Voting Rights for Boston Marathon Bomber

HARRIS: I have been long an advocate of making sure that the formally incarcerated are not denied a right to vote, which is the case in so many states in our country, in some states permanently deprived of the right to vote.

She then gibbered about how not letting incarcerated terrorists vote is the equivalent of Jim Crow. Her rhetoric confirmed yet again that for all the good it may of done in the past, civil rights is now nothing more than a wrecking ball.

LEMON: But people who are in — convicted, in prison, like the Boston Marathon bomber, on death row, people who are convicted of sexual assault, they should be able to vote?

HARRIS: I think we should have that conversation.

I love it. That will come back to haunt her and all the other Dems who either have to explain why she’s nuts (and alienate the extreme Left) or agree with her.

And here’s a great response to Bernie:

It is so simple to point out how letting felons vote would have disastrous impacts on local communities – and that’s just for starters. The prison where I do prison ministry has as many convicted felons as the town has eligible voters. The felons could easily outnumber the free people.  Please, Democrats, keep talking about this!

But wait, there’s more!  Elizabeth Warren wants to buy votes buy promising to pay off college debt.  You could run against that 24×7 in swing states, reminding those who didn’t go to college that Warren et al want to make them pay for the college degrees and unfinished college programs of those who make much more than them.  How about if Warren just cut her $400,000 Harvard salary by 90%?

Their hypocrisy is staggering and unending.  They are so “generous” that they never stop trying to spend more of your money, but they are comically stingy with their own charity, such at Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke donating a whole 0.3% of his income.  These frauds are rich but give away almost nothing.  And even then their tax returns don’t say what they gave to.  It may have been to Leftist political organizations and not charities helping the poor.

Their hatred of Trump has driven them to further open borders extremism: Sanctuary cities, judges helping illegals avoid ICE, benefits for illegals, etc.

Then there is the gun-grabbing.  More and more Dems are on record saying they really do want to take our guns.  Until they get complete power they’ll do it indirectly with excessive fees and restrictions, then they’ll start grabbing.

And don’t forget how they fight to kill children up to their first breath and even after those abortions “fail.”  Most people identifying as pro-choice don’t support later-term abortions.

And the Green New Deal?  Just quoting from the original is all you need to do to mock them.

And there is always the Socialism thing.    This pretty much sums it up.

And yes, Snopes actually did a piece saying she wasn’t really on the show.  Don’t believe me?  Check out Snopes.com.

But the Republicans – aka the party of stupid — will probably find a way to fumble these issues.  If they would just stay on point, and keep reminding people that the entire Russia thing was an elaborate hoax made up by the Left, then Trump should win.

So to recap, the Democrats are proudly:

  • Pro-child killing to the first breath and even OK with letting them die if they survive abortions
  • Pro-perversion, including teaching your 5 yr. old children that they can change genders and taking your children away if you don’t affirm their desires.  Oh, and increasingly saying that pedophilia is an “orientation” – which means it must be not only protected by law but affirmed.
  • Open borders to reduce your wages or take your jobs and to reduce your safety and quality of life
  • Hypocrites who give your money to counterproductive social programs but are incredibly stingy themselves – even though they are the epitome of the “1%”
  • Gun-grabbers who mock the Constitution
  • Anti-free speech
  • Rabid antisemitism from the Muslims elected in districts where vast amounts of “refugees” have been imported
  • In favor of murderers, rapists and terrorists voting from prison
  • In favor of destroying the economy with their ridiculous Green New Deal – just another part of their unlimited power grab based on “climate change” fallacies

Will Ohioans make the right call on unions?

If they understand the issue properly, I think they will.  Thanks to unions, every Ohio citizen owes government workers $6,150!

See With Each Ohio Citizen Owing Gov’t Workers $6150, Union Bosses Urge A Return To Cannibalism | RedState.

Given that just a few short years ago (pre-market meltdown) Ohio’s taxpayers were on the hook for $46.5 billion due to its underfunded retirement system, one would think that November 8th’s decision to Vote YES on Issue 2 would be a no brainer.

After all, if you’ve got a system where union bosses have been able to put every single Ohio citizen (now) $6150 in debt, why would you want to keep it?

Moreover, if you’ve successfully ridden yourself of the system, why would you want to return to it?

Yet, that’s the issue that Ohioans have to decide when they go to the polls on November 8th to vote on Issue 2: Do . . .

Issue 2 on Ohio’s November 8 ballot poses a simple question to voters: Should SB5, Ohio’s government reform effort to get control back from union bosses, be allowed to go into effect?

As fellow RedState contributor Kevin Holtsberry explains:

Issue 2 is a result of a union led attempt to repeal Senate Bill 5 – legislation which brought much needed reform to Ohio’s collective bargaining laws.  A yes vote allows these important reforms to go into effect which will give much needed flexibility to government at all levels and will remove barriers to merit based management.

A YES vote on Issue 2 gives Ohio’s taxpayers the ability to see SB 5 go into effect. And, in the words of Building a Better Ohio:

It allows an employee’s job performance to be considered when determining compensation, rather than just awarding automatic pay increases based only on an employee’s length of service.

It asks that government employees pay at least 15 percent of the cost of their health insurance premium.  That’s less than half of what private sector workers are currently paying.

It requires that government health care benefits apply equally to all government employees, whether they work in management or non-management positions.  No special favors.

It asks our government employees to pay their own share of a generous pension contribution, rather than forcing taxpayers to pay both the employee and employer shares.

It keeps union bosses from protecting bad teachers and stops the outdated practice of laying off good teachers first just because they haven’t served long enough.

Finally, it preserves collective bargaining for government employees, but it also returns some basic control of our schools and services to the taxpayers who fund them, not the union bosses who thrive on their mismanagement.

Are voter ID bills racist?

Of course not.  What could be more logical than requiring voters to prove that they are who they claim to be?  Anyone fighting voter ID laws tips their hands at their endorsement of voter fraud.

Are convenience stores racist for asking for ID before someone buys alcohol?

Somehow, it’s okay to have to show ID to the clerk at 7-11 for cigarettes and chewing tobacco, or at the liquor store and college bar to buy any form of alcohol.

Heck, you even have to show ID to a cop if you get pulled over.

Despite all of this, though, as Wisconsin passes a new law to require IDs in order to vote it’s racism according to the SEIU:

Why did Democrats have such huge losses with the faith voters?

Not surprisingly, people like race-baiting false teacher Chuck “Jesus is not the only way” Currie missed the point entirely.

Unlike 2008, I saw zero direct outreach to faith communities from progressive organizations this election cycle.  via “Democrats Stung By Huge Losses With Faith Voters”.

There are several likely reasons why the Democrats lost these people of faith.

1. The voters probably realized that the 2008 outreach was phony.  As Chuck concedes, the Democrats didn’t reach out to them in 2010.  That’s because they don’t really care about religious people and their concerns! They just said whatever they had to in a cynical attempt to win them over.  And it worked.  Once.

The Democrats took religious people for granted like they take blacks and other minorities for granted.  If someone only comes by when they need you and ignores you the rest of the time, then they don’t really care about you.

Note the subtle racism of the “get out and vote” messages to blacks.  They assume that blacks will automatically vote Democrat, so all they do is encourage them to vote.  But why should they vote Democrat?  Oh, right, because if you oppose Democrats you must be a racist.

2. Voters may have realized that “progressive” what the Democrats really meant was taxpayer-funded abortions, teaching kindergarteners how “normal” homosexual and transgender behavior and parenting is, government confiscation of businesses, massive job losses and more.  In short, they mocked everything that most people of faith believe and what all the holy books say.  See Iowa Voters Toss Out Three Supreme Court Justices Who Imposed ‘Gay Marriage,’ for example.

3. Voters got tired of being told that they:

  • hate African-Americans
  • hate Latinos
  • hate gays
  • hate women
  • hate Jews
  • hate Muslims
  • hate the poor
  • hate America
  • are fascists / Nazis
  • are just like the Taliban (That’s one of Chuck’s personal favorites.  How ironic that he can’t understand why no one will play with him.)
  • are theocrats
  • are stupid
  • are hate mongers
  • are insane (yeah, because opposing trillion-dollar payoffs to Democrats, taxpayer-funded abortions, etc. means you are crazy)
  • are violent extremists
  • are cowards
  • are “teabaggers” (a silly sexual slur)

Ya think that might have had something to do with authentically religious people not rushing out to vote Democrat?

Normally I’d fear giving the opposition a playbook for performing better in the future, but I’ve learned that Progressives don’t learn these lessons well.  Exhibit A: Chuck’s next post had advice for what they need to do to get the Progressive agenda back on track. Guess what priority 1 was“Commit to Taking Down FOX News.”

You just can’t make this stuff up.  I’m looking forward to 2012.

Update: Guess who was most fair and balanced last night — Fox or MSNBC?  Fox, of course.  No wonder the Progressive must take them down!
