Transanity of the week: Transsexual wants surgical reversal

Via Transsexual Chelsea Attonley who had £10k surgery on NHS wants to be man again — This is the sort of thing we should expect in a culture that refuses to state the obvious about the LGBTQX agenda.

You’ll see the same thing in the U.S. soon.  After all, how can you deny this “necessary” surgery?  And the political correctness of it will drive fear into people so that things like this will get prioritized over real medical issues, veteran care, etc.

As tragic as this is, hopefully it will be a cautionary tale to others who want to mutilate themselves and to those cowards letting males go into public bathrooms with females.

Chelsea, now living in London, said: ‘I have always longed to be a woman, but no amount of surgery can give me an actual female body and I feel like I am living a lie.

‘It is exhausting putting on make-up and wearing heels all the time. Even then I don’t feel I look like a proper woman.

‘I suffered from depression and anxiety as a result of the hormones too.

‘I have realised it would be easier to stop fighting the way I look naturally and accept that I was born a man physically.’

Chelsea, who spoke on ITV’s This Morning earlier this year about Katie Price’s encouragement, says she does not feel guilty about asking the taxpayer to pay for her reversion.

‘Now I have decided I want to live as Matthew, I am desperate to have my FF-cup boobs removed,’ she said.

‘I can’t afford to have them done privately, so I am hoping to have the op on the NHS.

‘I can’t work at the moment because I am too upset after what I have been through.

‘I am considering having penis reconstruction too. I don’t feel bad about the NHS paying for the surgery as I don’t consider it a choice.

Chelsea Attonley: ‘Meeting Jordan inspired my transformation’

‘I need to have these operations for the sake of my mental health. I am lucky enough to live in a country where there is free health care.’

Chelsea, who changed her name by deed poll from Matthew in 2008 after a £5,000 boob job in Thailand partly funded by benefit money, says she gradually began having doubts about the sex change.

She said: ‘I thought the surgery would make me feel complete, but it didn’t.

‘I knew deep down that, even though I had had surgery, I had still been born a man.

‘But I tried my best to block out my feelings.’

Chelsea said living as a woman is exhausting.

‘No matter how much make-up I put on or how I dressed, I knew people would not know me as a real woman.

Chelsea, now living in London, said: ‘I have always longed to be a woman, but no amount of surgery can give me an actual female body and I feel like I am living a lie’

‘It was draining to constantly think about how to walk and speak like a girl.

‘I was fighting a losing battle. When people found out about my past, they treated me like a liar and a fake. I suffered from anxiety and depression.’

She said she lost the support of her mother when she died from a heart attack.

She said : ‘I could not keep up the act of pretending to be a woman any more. It was making me miserable.

‘I had to go back to living as Matthew.’

She said she had always struggled with her identity while growing up in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. As a child she would dress up in women’s clothes, and in her twenties she became a drag queen known as Miss Malibu

Chelsea has already had testosterone injections to begin her transition to becoming a man again.

She has also had testosterone injections to stimulate hair growth and has cut his hair.

She added: ‘If people criticise me for wanting treatment on the NHS, it does not bother me.

‘I know I need these changes to make me happy and no one should deny me that.’

The TaxPayers’ Alliance yesterday insisted the NHS should not be expected to pay out again.

Research director Alex Wild said: ‘The NHS must prioritise crucial frontline services over ridiculous vanity operations.

‘This whole saga has simply cost far too much. If the Health Service is to be properly funded, this sort of waste must be cut out.’

Another important point from the comments section:

“Dr. McHugh in a 1992 essay wrote about its long-term consequences: ‘Age accentuates the sad caricature of the sexually reassigned and saps their bravado. Some, pathetically, ask about re-reassignment.’”

Other than being overpriced, unhealthy and supporting a bad organization, Girl Scout cookies are a great idea

I wish I would have had this article when the little girl and her grandma came to the door last week — Say no to Girl Scout cookies.  I caved and bought one box of the kind my wife likes.  I’ll give the grandma a copy when she delivers it.

I knew the Girl Scouts had issues but it has gotten much worse: Radically pro-abortion and pro-Planned Parenthood-style sex education and more.  Please read the entire link and stop supporting this organization.

When our sweet little neighbor in her brown camp uniform came knocking on our door this year, we had to say no. I told her mother that I didn’t want to hurt Katie’s feelings, but I couldn’t support the Girl Scout cookie sale anymore because I’d learned too much about the organizers’ agenda, primarily their support for abortion and partnership with Planned Parenthood.

I worried that my “political” stand would cause uneasiness between us, but her response put me at ease: “Well,” she said, “they do use unpaid child labor to make their sales, and the troop only gets 10 percent of the revenues anyway.”

Or is it? Cathy Ruse argues that Girl Scouts’ ties with abortion giant Planned Parenthood, and a morally “progressive” agenda discounts it from receiving our support.

True. According to the Girl Scouts’ website, the lion’s share of the money goes not to the troop but to bureaucrats up the chain of command in multicounty councils. The national office gets a piece of the pie, too, in the form of royalties based on gross annual sales volume – about 200 million boxes per year.

. . .

Last year, the Girl Scouts decided to admit boys who dress as girls. . . . Perpetuating this cruel charade on the little boy and forcing little girls to participate in it is “inclusiveness” to the Girl Scouts. To others, it’s child abuse.

But it shouldn’t be surprising: The Girl Scouts have a cross-dresser in the front office.

Ten years ago, Girl Scouts media relations officer Joshua Ackley was frontman for the “homopunk” band the Dead Betties. In publicity shots, he’s dressed in women’s clothing, and in music videos, he appears to be naked and feigning masturbation. The video for “Hellevator” portrays a woman being strangled in an elevator shaft while Mr. Ackley flashes a menacing grin.

Today he issues press releases, posts news and views on the Girl Scouts’ blog, and tries to mollify moms who are concerned about Girl Scout ties with Planned Parenthood. In fact, it was Mr. Ackley who facilitated the Girl Scouts’ “no adults allowed” workshop at the United Nations – the workshop in which the Planned Parenthood sex brochure “Healthy, Happy, and Hot” was offered, although part of Mr. Ackley’s job is to deny it.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if someone like Mr. Ackley was behind the Girl Scouts’ recent scandal: a guidebook that tells girls to check with the leftist, George Soros-funded Media Matters before believing what they read in the news.

. . . Several years ago. a quarter of the Girl Scout councils nationwide admitted to partnering with Planned Parenthood, the nation’s abortion giant. When questioned about the affiliation on NBC’s “Today Show,” Girl Scout CEO Kathy Cloninger had no compunction in confirming it.

The Girl Scouts have been “pro-choice” for years, but now they’ve been caught supporting promiscuous sex for girls. The Planned Parenthood sex guide offered at that “girls only” U.N. meeting offered this advice on Page 11: “Some people have sex when they have been drinking alcohol or using drugs. This is your choice. … If you want to have sex and think you might get drunk or high, plan ahead by bringing condoms and lube or putting them close to where you usually have sex.”

Heard enough? There’s a lot more at 100questionsforthegirlscouts.org.

Earlier this month, a young Girl Scout employee, Renise Rodriguez, made the mistake of stopping by the office to do extra work on her own time in a T-shirt bearing the words: “Pray to End Abortion.” A supervisor ordered her to turn the shirt inside out or leave the office. She left, for good.

So should we all.

State-supported “Transgender Prom” for kids (“22 or younger”) in Boston City Hall: Your worst nightmare — this is a must read. Among other things, the official greeter identified himself as a “leather BDSM fetishist” (bondage discipline & sado-masochism).

But remember, there is no homosexual agenda.  Why do I have to keep telling you that?  This is all about us trying to run their lives, right?

The Rise of Child Abuse as a Result of Abortion — great read by Randy Alcorn.

In 1973, when abortion was first legalized, United States child abuse cases were estimated at 167,000 annually. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, approximately 903,000 children were victims of abuse during 2001, a number more than five times greater.

The increase in child abuse is even more dramatic, since the 45 million American children killed by surgical abortions (and an unknown number by chemical abortions) aren’t counted as victims of child abuse. Yet abortion is the earliest child abuse, and no other is more deadly. The argument that aborting a child prevents child abuse is true only in the same sense that killing a wife prevents wife abuse. Dead people can no longer be abused… but preventing their abuse by killing them is convoluted logic.

Why have children been abused far more since abortion was legalized? Because abortion has changed the way we think about children.

You’ll have to pardon my schadenfreude when I read about false teachers shocked that they can’t trust Obama to do the opposite of what the Bible teaches and boo-hoo-ing that he isn’t supporting Civil Rights for sexual preferences like they thought he would.  Sadly, I’m sure Obama will please the fake Christians in the end.

Great video highlighting the lies of Obama & Co. about single-payer health care.  Don’t be fooled, people.

Born that way?

dna2.gifThe “gays were born that way” saying has taken on a life of its own and has a significant impact on public policy.  Is it true?  If it is true, does it matter?  Some thoughts . . .

1. I’m highly skeptical of “proof” that it is genetic (either a “gay gene” or genetic predispositions), as these studies have all been proven to be false in the past.  See the Gay Gene Hoax.

2. Even if it is genetic, that doesn’t change the morality of the behavior.  You don’t get an “ought” from and “is.”  Gay-bashing is a sin, but those people could claim they were “born that way.”

3. If it is genetic, the number of gays will be dramatically reduced in a generation or so.  Heterosexual parents will be quick to abort their children with predispositions to be gay.  And the Liberals won’t do much to stop them, because they typically love abortion rights more than gay rights.  They haven’t changed their views even for gender selection abortions (which virtually all involve the murder of females), so they probably won’t change them for gays, either.

I think that would be a bad thing, of course, as I’m against abortions except to save the life of the mother regardless of whether the baby has a predisposition to be gay.

4. I’ve seen lots of evidence that many people are gay because of sexual abuse and/or relationship issues.  I agree that anecdotes don’t make a full case, but I’m talking about a lot of anecdotes from people who come across hundreds or even thousands of gays.  I’ve read of many counselors who said that virtually all of their gay patients had been abused or had serious relationship issues.  It has also been my personal experience knowing gays.  And here’s a quote from gay activist / journalist Tammy Bruce from The Death of Right and Wrong:

Almost without exception, the gay men I know (and that’s too many to count) have a story of some kind of sexual trauma or abuse in their childhood – molestation by a parent or an authority figure, or seduction as an adolescent at the hands of an adult.  The gay community must face the truth and see the sexual molestation of an adolescent for the abuse it is, instead of the “coming-of-age” experience many regard it as being.  Until then, the Gay Elite will continue to promote a culture of alcohol and drug abuse, sexual promiscuity, and suicide by AIDS.

She wasn’t trying to dispel the “born that way” notion, but I thought her comment was compelling.

And nearly all the lesbians I know were abused by their fathers or husbands.

5. It doesn’t have to be one traumatic event.  It could be the complete dynamics of a relationship in place from birth that would make someone think they were “always that way.”

6. Gays who choose that lifestyle would be predisposed to say they were born that way.  Otherwise, the whole “civil rights” demands would have even less reasoning behind them.

7. How many times do you see a newborn and say, “Now there’s a gay baby!”  Be sure not to unfairly stereotype youths as gay just because they have non-traditional characteristics.  How about nurturing and encouraging them for who they are and what interests they have?

8. Why are some people so eager to insist on the genetic link?  Seems kinda homophobic to me, as if they think the lifestyle would make an undesirable choice.

And don’t just say, “They are picked on, so who would want that lifestyle?”  That reasoning wouldn’t apply to people with true genetic differences that have made people a source of disapproval in the past.

Also, gay approval is at an all time high – “pride” parades, recognition as employee network groups at many businesses, civil unions & marriages – even apostate church weddings, almost universally favorable media treatment, etc.

9. Here’s one lady who doesn’t claim she was “born that way.”  She says feminism led her to lesbianism (go figure!).

Ms Wilkinson, Professor of Feminist and Health Studies at Loughborough University, said: “I was never unsure about my sexuality throughout my teens or 20s. I was a happy heterosexual and had no doubts. Then I changed, through political activity and feminism, spending time with women’s organisations. It opened my mind to the possibility of a lesbian identity.”
