Bitter much?

Via Merry Christmas from the Episcopal Church, the Episcopals rejoice over selling a building for $50,000 to Muslims instead of for $150,000 to Bible-believing Christians.

“I’ve had two principles throughout this,” Episcopal Church Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori told NPR earlier this year when speaking about Episcopal property battles. “One, that the church receive a reasonable approximation of fair market value for assets that are disposed of; and, second, that we not be in the business of setting up competitors that want to either destroy or replace the Episcopal Church.”

Oh, she has principles all right.  Straight from Satan.  Run, don’t walk, from denominations with leaders like her.  She thinks Bible-believers are her enemies but Islam isn’t!

Why Republicans should not vote for Romney

1. He’s a RINO (Republican In Name Only).  Example: As much as he has tried to pretend he is pro-life, it is all just weasel-words in the predictable “I’m personally against crushing and dismembering innocent human beings but if elected I won’t do a thing about it” political spin.

2. Even if he wasn’t a RINO he can’t beat Obama.  He can’t run against Obamacare, because it is mirrored on Romneycare.  And the Democrats and the mainstream media (redundancy alert, I know) are well aware of that.  That’s why they and the Republican elite keep pushing Romney as the front-runner. Their worst-case scenario, which has a slim chance of occurring, would be a President that is almost as Left as Obama.

See Federal Government Provides Life Support for RomneyCare.

State treasurer of MA absolutely shreds RomneyCare, which “has nearly bankrupted the state” and is surviving solely because of federal aid…

“If President Obama and the Democrats repeat the mistake of the health insurance reform here in Massachusetts on a national level, they will threaten to wipe out the American economy within four years,” Cahill said in a press conference in his office.

…[T]he state’s health insurance law…Cahill said, “has nearly bankrupted the state.”

Cahill said the law is being sustained only with the help of federal aid, which he suggested that the Obama administration is funneling to Massachusetts to help the president make the case for a similar plan in Congress…
Voters in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina should take note. After all, they are paying for RomneyCare along with all of the rest of us.
3. The media will do the same thing with Romney that they did with McCain: Be his cheerleader until the primaries are over, then bring out the knives.  Only then will you hear them bring up the oddities of Mormonism and other attacks.
Conclusion: Don’t be suckers and let the Democrats tell you how to vote!

Are voter ID bills racist?

Of course not.  What could be more logical than requiring voters to prove that they are who they claim to be?  Anyone fighting voter ID laws tips their hands at their endorsement of voter fraud.

Are convenience stores racist for asking for ID before someone buys alcohol?

Somehow, it’s okay to have to show ID to the clerk at 7-11 for cigarettes and chewing tobacco, or at the liquor store and college bar to buy any form of alcohol.

Heck, you even have to show ID to a cop if you get pulled over.

Despite all of this, though, as Wisconsin passes a new law to require IDs in order to vote it’s racism according to the SEIU:

More about Herman Cain

Since Herman Cain is all black, will his Democratic critics automatically be considered racist for not wanting him to be President?  Can they only handle someone who is half-black?

I couldn’t care less about the skin color of Cain or Obama.  I just know that Cain would be a vastly superior leader.  Obama is destroying this country.

Jim Clyburn = the Dwight Schrute of Congress?

Via Pelosi Letter Designating Clyburn Assistant Leader:

Should I receive the privilege of serving as House Democratic Leader, I will be very honored to nominate our outstanding colleague, Congressman Jim Clyburn of South Carolina, to serve in the number three House Democratic position. I will also ask the Caucus to designate that position as Assistant Leader.

Interpretation: “We don’t want to give you a real position, so we’re making one up.”

It reminds me of the running gag about Dwight Schrute from The Office, where he claims be Assistant Regional Manager even though his real title is Assistant to the Regional Manager — and where neither title carries any authority or money with it.

Pelosi’s move is the worst kind of affirmative action.

The headline must have a typo or something . . .

See Minorities ride GOP wave to historic victories — that can’t be, of course, because we’ve been hearing for years how conservatives were racist and misogynistic.

The historic Republican wave also produced historic results for minority candidates, from Latina and Indian-American governors to a pair of black congressmen from the deep South.

In New Mexico, Susana Martinez was elected as the nation’s first female Hispanic governor. Nikki Haley, whose parents were born in India, will be the first woman governor in South Carolina, and Brian Sandoval became Nevada’s first Hispanic governor.

Insurance company owner Tim Scott will be the first black Republican congressman from South Carolina since Reconstruction, after easily winning in his conservative district. Scott, a 45-year-old state representative, earned a primary victory over the son of the one-time segregationist U.S. Sen. Strom Thurmond.

In Florida, military veteran Allen West outfought a two-term Democrat to win his House race. He is the first black Republican elected to Congress from Florida since a former slave served two terms in the 1870s.

The last black Republican in Congress was J.C. Watts of Oklahoma. He left office in 2003. There were 42 black Democrats in Congress this term.

Several Latino Republicans defeated incumbent House Democrats. In Texas, Bill Flores snatched a seat from Democratic Rep. Chet Edwards, who had served 20 years in Congress, and Francisco Canseco beat 11-year veteran Ciro Rodriguez. Jamie Herrera became the first Latino congressman from Washington state.

Is it possible that the party that chose the first woman for the Supreme Court and countless blacks for high positions (Clarence Thomas, Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice, etc.) was actually voting on principles all along?

Here are more reasons the Republicans won.  People can see through the rhetoric, and believe it or not, when you just keep telling them they are racist homophobic hate monger Taliban-supporting teabagging idiots it kinda turns them off.
