Is it really a religion of peace?

The religion in question is Islam, of course, and the answer is no.  So why do so many false teachers say it is?  They are either ignorant useful idiots (bad) or knowingly malicious (worse).  As always, I thank God for disobedient Muslims who don’t do what the Quran says.

The Quran does not have a single verse encouraging love towards those outside of Islam. But there are 493 passages that either endorse violence or talk about the hatred of Allah for the infidels, meaning all non-Muslims. The Quran is a book mainly concerned with how Muslims are to think and act towards those outside of Islam; that is, either kill them or force them to live as second-class citizens and pay taxes (Jizya). More than half the contents of the Quran are texts despising or inciting against non-Muslims. This is what turns Islam into a religion of hate and violence, for which history carries much evidence.

Those criticizing Islam are branded with epithets such as “Islamophobe”, “racist” or “right-wing extremist”. A phobia is an unjustified fear of something. Criticizing Islam does not constitute a phobia, but rather a very much justified activity, bearing in mind the content of the above-mentioned scripture, as well as current events in Muslim countries as well as in the Western world. Islam is not merely a religion, it is also a totalitarian theological and political ideology, according to which everything has to be subject to the Quran and the Shariah. It denies fundamental human rights such as freedom of religion, freedom of expression and equal rights for women. The Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam is a United Nations “Regional instrument” that may be applied as alternative to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This declaration, signed by all 57 members of the OIC, clearly stipulates that human rights are subject to Shariah and interpreted according to it.

9 Things You Should Know About Female Body Image Issues — hopefully this gets people to re-think their views.

9. The only complete way to overcome the problem is to have our beliefs about body image transformed by the Holy Spirit. As Heather Davis says in the Journal of Biblical Counseling:

In pursuing worldly beauty, we strive to become this elusive image in place of who we really are. You and I are created in the image of the living God. Our purpose is to reflect His image to the world. But since the fall, we let the world inscribe its image on us. It is the very picture of sin and ultimately death. Instead of being transformed to God’s image, we conform to the world’s image. We are hopelessly stuck in a lifeless cycle, exchanging God for the creature as our object of worship. But God in His mercy rescued us!

In love, God sent Jesus Christ to take on the consequences of our idolatrous affair. He became sin so that we might become righteous. In Christ, God gives us freedom from sin’s power now and hope for its eradication in heaven. God makes you beautiful with the beauty of His Son, Jesus. It is in gazing at God’s image in Jesus Christ that you are transformed. Romans 12:1-2 says, “Therefore, I urge you, (sisters) in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not be conformed any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

The 2nd Amendment is safe — for now.  Mercifully a few Senators did the right thing.  Note how Obama was more upset at losing this bill than he was after Benghazi.  And how he has ghoulishly milked the Newtown tragedy but was nearly silent on Aurora.  Why?  Because the latter was before the election.

But kudos to Senators Cruz, Lee and Paul for being willing to provide leadership where there has been none.

Now – on to Immigration.

More good news: The most important thing about yesterday’s vote: national reciprocal concealed-carry is doable.

“Day of Silence” — annual homosexual assault on children in schools — taking place this Friday, April 19. Parents can fight back! — Hey, how about a day of silence for the 1,000,000+ unwanted human beings who will be killed in the U.S. this year via abortion?

Never forget the real issues with the Kermit Gosnell story.  It isn’t that he did some bad things.  What would you expect from an abortionist?!  Never be surprised that people who kill babies for a living will lie, have unsanitary clinics, kill babies 30 seconds after it is legal, hide statutory rape and sex trafficking, etc.

The real issues are:

  1. The Liberal media, Planned Parenthood and false teachers knew that he was far too similar to other abortionists so they tried to hide the truth.  
  2. Killing babies 30 seconds after being born is morally equivalent to killing them in the womb.
  3. The political correctness of abortion meant that the safety regulations were not enforced for 17 years.

Newtown shooting reaction = take the guns from law-abiding people.  Boston bombing reaction = take the guns from law-abiding people.

These scenarios are nearly guaranteed.  The media, Liberal politicians and false teachers will be very, very sad if it isn’t #2.

What we can expect once we know what the attack was about:

  1. If it was an Islamist, Dems will immediately proclaim that the person(s) was a lone wolf and not representative or part of the Islamic world in the least, and if you try to link the even to Islamic terrorism, Sharia law, etc, well, you’re an Islamophobe. They’ll also say that we should have more spending and federal government because of this 1 off incident.

  2. If it was a domestic plot, they will immediately look to portray the person(s) as far right, and will keep that narrative up despite any evidence to the contrary, and will make this about the Conservative movement/Republican Party as a whole, demonizing all, attempting to destroy all on the Right, despite Conservatives disowning these fringe groups. Oh, and call for more government and spending and liberty restrictions.

  3. If the person is easily known as a liberal (Occupy Wall Street, Occupy Black Bloc, some environmentalist, etc, groups that Liberals rarely disown), the media will either completely downplay the link and still find a way to blame Republicans or let the story quietly die out while also mentioning that this was an aberration and means we need X (gun control, more spending, bigger government, higher taxes, etc).

First, a definition of dhimmitude:

the Islamic system of governing populations conquered by jihad wars, encompassing all of the demographic, ethnic, and religious aspects of the political system. The word “dhimmitude” as a historical concept, was coined by Bat Ye’or in 1983 to describe the legal and social conditions of Jews and Christians subjected to Islamic rule.

Seven Algerian churches face closure this week after the governor of their province sent them written notice that they were operating “illegally.”

The notice on Sunday (May 22) from Police Chief Ben Salma, citing a May 8 decree from the Bejaia Province governor, also states that all churches “in all parts of the country” will be closed for lack of compliance with registration regulations, but Christian leaders dismissed this assertion as the provincial official does not have nationwide authority.

“All buildings permanently designated for or in the process of being designated for the practice of religious worship other than Muslim will be permanently closed down in all parts of the country, as well as those not having received the conformity authorization from the National Commission,” Salma stated in the notice.

Then, note that EVERY 5 MINUTES A CHRISTIAN IS MARTYRED

A sociologist representing a European security organization says that the number of Christians killed each year for their faith is so high that it calculates to one martyr’s life being taken every five minutes. . . Introvigne reported that Christians killed every year for their faith number 105,000, and that number includes only those put to death simply because they are Christians. It does not count the victims of civil or international wars.

So what do theologically Liberal Christians in the U.S. do, where people actually have freedom of religion and where Islam actually increased in acceptance since 9/11?  Why, they begin a campaign to Promote Islamic Propaganda in Churches.

The interfaith group “Faith Shared” has big news! They are planning a simultaneous nation wide display of casting aside the shackles of Christianity and embracing “Chrislam”. Otherwise known as Christian dhimmitude. This travesty that will be occurring in Christian churches across the country on June 26, is nothing less than an open invitation to be devoured by the beast that is Islam.

Then, of course, there is false teacher Chuck “Jesus is not the only way” Currie shrieking, “Oh, the humanity,” that someone might want to ensure we aware of the radical elements of Islam.  Then again, the “reverend” insists that we have as much to learn from Islam as they do from us– as if other religions had anything to teach us about Jesus that isn’t in the Bible.  He is a poster “dhimmi,” bowing down to Islam because he is afraid to criticize it.

If your church reads the Koran without pointing out why it is wrong, then it isn’t a real church.

Dhimmitude Attitude: Minnesota Head Start Caves to Santa Hating Muslim Somalis – I’m not a Santa fan, but this is ridiculous.  Anyone entering this country – or currently living here, for that matter – needs to be told that there is no Constitutional right to never be offended.

If things go wrong in a relationship, who is to blame? – You!  Just kidding . . . maybe.  Go read this provocative piece by the Wintery Knight.

My basic contention is that whenever something goes wrong in a relationship, then the person whose expectations are dashed is to blame.

The reason why I think this is because you have to take people as you find them and then vet them as if they were job applicants applying for the job of marriage. The job of marriage has very specific requirements, and these requirements are objective. Someone is going to have to raise the kids, someone is going to have to cook the meals, someone is going to have to earn the bulk of the money, someone is going to have to deal with the beasties that invade the home. The goal of the relationship is not to test the person to see if they are “fun” or whether your friends are envious. The goal of the relationship is to test the person for the role they will play in the marriage.

In short, the problem is this: women go to the pet store, pass by all the dogs and cats and bird, and bring home a trendy and attractive alligator, who then promptly bites each of their limbs off. And then the women complain that the alligator is very unfair and immoral. Who is really to blame here? The alligator, who is just doing what comes naturally for alligators, or the woman who passed the good pets by and brought home a monster?

Missouri law gets the science right

As noted in Media Deeply Concerned About Missouri Abortion Law, Not So Much About Sharia, Missouri gets the science right in a new law about informed consent for abortions.

The media tried to twist it into a debatable religious angle, even though the law just adds a simple, factual phrase to a pamphlet:

“The life of each human being begins at conception,” according to Senate Bill 793, which will add new regulations to the state’s 24-hour informed consent law for abortions. “Abortion will terminate the life of a separate, unique, living human being.”

Those words will be displayed “prominently” on brochures that abortion providers will be required to hand out to every woman seeking the procedure — even if they don’t happen to believe the Christian theology the words represent.

Of course all Christians should know that God created life and that we should protect innocent human beings from being aborted.

But this law isn’t based on religion, it is based on an irrefutable scientific fact: The unborn are unique, living human beings from conception.  Go check out those pesky embryology textbooks in the link.  Or just think about the logic for about 5 seconds: What other type of being would two human beings create?   Of course it is a human being.  Who cares if / when it has a soul?  If you think the timing of the soul is important then you need to prove exactly when it comes into being or explain why we wouldn’t err on the side of caution.

The article also highlights how ridiculous it is to protest the requirement to share scientific facts with women about to have their unborn children destroyed while turning a blind eye to the creeping Sharia law of Islam.  What does Sharia declare?

  • Women are inferior to men.
  • Women should have fewer rights and responsibilities than Larry the Cable Guy.
  • Women count for one-half of a dude in giving evidence in a court of law.
  • Women should be horse whipped if they ever make their husband feel like a dork.
  • Victoria’s Secret Miraculous Bra (with extreme level 5 cleavage) makes God angry.
  • Women can’t say squat in regard to whom they’ll marry, what they’ll wear, where they’ll live, or whether or not they can divorce their cheating and/or abusive husband.
  • Girls can be wed beginning at the ripe old age of frickin’ nine.
  • Women should be cool with hubby having a couple of hoochies or female slaves on the side.
  • Women, on the pretext of “honor,” should be locked up, isolated and unable to have a girls’ night out at Mango’s on Ocean Drive.

    • Say, where are all the feminists yelling about “my body, my life” when it comes to Islam?

Evolutionary Explanation for Contradictory Altruism Findings — Just another example of the embarrassment evolutionists put on themselves with their “just so” stories.  They “know” we came from nothing and evolved to where we are today, so all the evidence has to be twisted to fit their prejudices.  Maybe one day they’ll just follow the evidence where it leads instead of being slaves to their philosophical presuppositions.

News flash: The profit motive drives innovation in health care and elsewhere.  Read it and watch the video.  Why don’t people understand that the same things that motivate them also motivate others?

When you take away the motivation of making money, you remove the incentive for people to risk their own capital to try to develop new cures and treatments.

Socialist countries in the West run on the fumes of our innovation (as well as our military protection).  Guess what happens to everyone when  that dries up?  “Oh, but that would make me think of the unintended consequences of my views and destroy my fantasies.”
