Democrats hate blacks.

And that includes their media accomplices, of course.  There are no other explanations for the following.

  1. They know that promoting out-of-wedlock births is terrible for families and dooms them to generational poverty, but they need that permanent black underclass to provide faithful Democratic votes.  Democrats have had monopoly control over most inner city politics, schools and media for over half a century, and look what it has done for blacks.  Remember the Democrat Death Spiral: “a vicious cycle by which miserable economic conditions lead to government dependency and class envy, leading to Democrat electoral victories, leading to higher taxes and crippling regulations, leading to still more miserable economic conditions.”  Even if their intentions were good, Leftists literally fail at basic economics.
  2. That said, they still hate black people so much that they push abortion on them, resulting in black children being killed at a rate three times that of whites.  Planned Parenthood kills more blacks in a day than the KKK has in their history, and it isn’t an accident.  So with my abortion position there would be many more blacks alive today.  Who are the real racists?
  3. They oppose charter schools, thereby condemning many black children to failing, dangerous, out of control schools.  They can’t stand any competition with their unions — even though countless teachers in Leftist areas who can afford it send their children to private schools.
  4. Because of number 2 the Democrats need more votes, so they import illegals by the truckload and want open borders.  That takes the jobs of low-income blacks and suppresses the wages of remaining jobs.
  5. They want to disarm blacks so they can’t defend themselves, all the while living in their safe, gated communities with home security systems and armed guards.
  6. They knowingly spread lies such as “hands up, don’t shoot” that promote riots and destroy black communities, all because it advances the Leftists’ agenda.  They have no intention of truly helping people in towns like Ferguson, especially after riots destroy the towns and even fewer businesses want to locate there.
  7. They talk down to blacks.  Studies show that conservative whites talk to blacks in a more normal fashion while Leftists condescend and dumb things down.  And they assume that blacks are too stupid to get an ID to be able to vote (although that is more about the Left wanting to steal elections with voter fraud).
  8. And to make all that worse, the Left — including the “Christian” Left — have the nerve to say that Republicans are the racists.  They create bitterness and divisiveness 24×7 just so they can increase their power.  No matter how well some blacks have done the Left gaslights them into thinking they are oppressed and must be miserable.  Whereas blacks used to want more policing in their communities, the Left has now convinced them to hate the police and to protect the drug dealers and thugs that destroy their neighborhoods and harm their children.
  9. They seek to destroy successful conservative blacks such as Clarence Thomas and Condoleezza Rice, referring to them as “Uncle Toms” and such.
  10. They turn a hypocritical blind eye to wickedly misogynistic, violent and hateful rap music even though they know it harms the black culture, yet they cry about “micro-aggressions” allegedly made by whites.

The shameless anti-science pro-abortion rhetoric of the Left

Sadly, this illogical nonsense actually resonates with the child-killing Democrats, including the Molech-worshiping “Christian” Leftists who support abortion to the child’s first breath.  It is all quite ridiculous, but go to the 6:00 mark for some scary comments.

These are painful decisions for these women

So?  I don’t care how painful it is for you to decide to murder your child or whether you consulted your doctor or religious advisor, it is still wrong, just as it would be if you killed her outside the womb.

With all of your distortions and horrible tales, I answered it numerous times.  When a woman gets pregnant it is not a human being inside of her.

Uh, that’s not what all those pesky embryology textbooks say, or even what common sense would dictate to even the dullest among us.  What else would two human beings produce, a puppy?  Of course it is a human being.

Even the chryon is fallacious, as it refers to “reproductive rights.”  But reproductive rights have nothing to do with abortion, because a new human being has already been created.  The question is whether you should be able to kill that human being.  Never let the pro-aborts get away with using that term.

As always, I’m too pro-science to be pro-choice.

Study proves what we already knew: Leftists are the real racists who patronize minorities to virtue signal

I’m not surprised at the results of this study, but I am surprised it didn’t get suppressed — though of course, the Leftist media will ignore it.  Way too much truth for the Left to handle!  Via Source: White liberals ‘patronize’ minorities by downplaying competence — conservatives don’t.

White liberals present themselves as less competent when addressing minorities, while conservatives use the same vocabulary no matter what the race of their audience, according to a newly released study.Yale and Princeton researchers found that white Democratic presidential candidates and self-identified liberals played down their competence when speaking to minorities, using fewer words that conveyed accomplishment and more words that expressed warmth. On the other hand, there were no significant differences in how white conservatives, including Republican presidential candidates, spoke to white versus minority audiences.“White liberals self-present less competence to minorities than to other Whites — that is, they patronize minorities stereotyped as lower status and less competent,” according to the study’s abstract. Cydney Dupree, assistant professor of organizational behavior at the Yale School of Management, said she was surprised by the findings of the study, which sought to discover how “well-intentioned whites” interact with minorities.

This explains why the Left — including the “Christian” Left — is so patronizing to minorities.  Rachel Held Evans is a typical example, where she often says how we need to read black female writers, but never explains why.  But Leftists like her think that they are virtuous because they pat minorities on the head.  Predictable, but sickening.  Conservatives act virtuously towards minorities, but Leftists just react in meaningless and hypocritical ways and think that qualifies as good works on their part.

Here’s another example.  Sadly, this seems to work on minorities.

The Left’s trick of labeling opponents as fascists is straight out of the KGB playbook

We are used to seeing Antifa — aka AntiF(irst)A(mendment) — reflexively label anyone they disagree with as fascists.  If the topic wasn’t so serious and if Antifa wasn’t so violent you could just laugh them off.  Yeah, we conservatives are such fascists that we want citizens to be armed, we want limited government, less regulations, etc.  Seriously, we were the original anti-fascists.  If we used a fraction of the tactics that Antifa does it would be in the news 24×7.

I just saw this fascinating historical fact in a book I’m reading about the Cold War.  The book was published in 2012, so it predates Antifa by many years.  The author was describing the spread of the secret police (the NKVD / KGB) into Eastern European countries and how they relentlessly went after fascists, or more specifically how they called anyone they didn’t like a fascist as a pretext to imprison or kill them.

But in every country occupied by the Red Army, the definition of “fascist” eventually grew broader, expanding to include not only Nazi collaborators but anybody whom the Soviet occupiers and their local allies disliked. In time, the word “fascist,” in true Orwellian fashion, was eventually used to describe antifascists who also happened to be anticommunists. And every time the definition was expanded, arrests followed.

Some of these “fascists” had been identified in advance . . .

Applebaum, Anne. Iron Curtain: The Crushing of Eastern Europe, 1944-1956

So there is more evidence that Antifa and their apologists on the Left are just running the Communist playbook.  They disingenuously call their opponents fascists to deflect attention from their Communism.  And make no mistake: If they had the power of the KGB they’d start arresting and punishing conservatives today.

Responding to Leftist memes

meme

Hi everyone — I used some PowerPoint macros to make it easy to take Leftist memes and turn responses into jpeg files.  Some of these have been published on the Eternity Matters Facebook page and some will be published later.  Feel free to use any of these without attribution.   Sharing is caring!

If you see any memes you want me to respond to please paste a link in the comments.  And thanks for being on the right (heh) side of these issues.

Some of these will seem dated after a while, but it will give you an idea of what the Left has to offer.

Even though these “Christian” Leftists are my ideological foes I have to admit I’m actually embarrassed for them when they post these — and worse yet, for those who comment on them.  It is such a train wreck of bad theology and made-up religiosity.

The biblical/economic/political/logical ignorance is hard to fathom — although I know that many of them know the memes are false but pass them on out of malice.  But what would we expect from Romans 1 poster children?  I do hope they repent and believe someday, but in the meantime one way to love our neighbors is to correct such nonsense and blasphemy.

I’ll update this post as I add more, so you might want to bookmark this page.

Who will win the Snowflakes* vs ISIS confrontation?

Note: This was written before the latest California shootings

So will ISIS respect the Snowflakes’s “safe spaces” and refrain from exercising free speech?  Doubtful.  Source: Freedom Of Speech? Not Important To 40% Of This Group

We asked whether people believe that citizens should be able to make public statements that are offensive to minority groups, or whether the government should be able to prevent people from saying these things. Four-in-ten Millennials say the government should be able to prevent people publicly making statements that are offensive to minority groups… …the 40% who oppose it is striking given that only around a quarter of Gen Xers (27%) and Boomers (24%) and roughly one-in-ten Silents (12%) say the government should be able to prevent such speech.

Both ISIS and the Snowflakes are nuts, but the juxtaposition is so extreme.  How morbidly ironic that both are flexing their muscles at the same time.  I’d say, “Pass the popcorn!,” except this won’t be pretty.

*Snowflakes = Those Millennials who are so thin-skinned and wimpy that they can’t have anyone express views that they don’t like.  Now stop reading this and go give them another sticker!

The Liberal / Leftist mindset summarized perfectly in one phrase — in their own words

Obamacare Supporter Surprised When She Loses Her Coverage

Alternate title: Mugged by reality.

Seriously, what could better explain their worldview?  The same thing happens weekly in theologically Liberal churches led by false teachers such as Jim “the Gospel is all about wealth redistribution” Wallis.  They take verses out of context about helping the “least of these” — while hypocritically supporting the Democrats’ platform of unrestricted, taxpayer-funded abortions that literally destroy the least of these — yet it never occurs to them that by definition you can only give your own money.  If you ask “Caesar” to take it from neighbor A by force to redistribute to neighbor B, then that isn’t giving.  See the good folks at Dictionary.com on the difference between giving and taxes if you need help with that.

Here is a better view of real giving, courtesy of the Holy Spirit:

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

As evil and incompetent as the Obama administration is, they aren’t completely without intellect.  They are so committed to their horrific Cloward/Piven/Alinsky agenda that they don’t mind looking foolish as long as they get their end game: Universal health care and more government control of everything.  They know there is a tipping point after which it will be too late to stop it, short of a full-blown revolution.

But quotes from Leftist voters who are finally impacted by the consequences of their worldview do give a glimmer of hope.  Hopefully enough people will notice how Obama is pushing the next wave of bad news to just after the November 2014 elections and they’ll realize that he didn’t just lie to them once.

Republicans have a golden opportunity — which, admittedly, they will probably ruin — to reset voter expectations for a decade or more.  They just need to relentlessly point out the consequences of the Leftist mindset of “charity” and how superior and more fair the free market approach is.

Two reasons to oppose the “Common Core” curriculum

1. It is a perverse worldview-shaping program driven by the Left and being forced on public school students (and soon to be all students, if they get their wishes, because the Left hates home schooling).

2. It is another example of why we don’t need the Federal Government involved in education.  This “optional” program is typical of how the Feds operate: They take the money of citizens by force then “give” it back if you participate in their “optional” programs like this.  But if you don’t participate you get nothing.  No compulsion there, right?

So what is the Common Core?  Via A Monstrous Story for a Monstrous Curriculum: The Ugly Heart of Common Core.

For those of you who may be unfamiliar with Common Core, it is a curriculum created in the private sector but pushed onto states by the federal government and endorsed by Bill Gates. The cost of implementing the program runs from millions to billions depending on the state. It is untested and unresearched. It has been criticized for being not as rigorous as proponents claim, clearly biased to a liberal perspective, so much so that many see it as indoctrination, and it is being forced on the states in spite of the fact that a federal curriculum is unconstitutional violating the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitutionwhich established the principle that“…the “power” to oversee education belongs to the states. This longstanding principle of local control of education is reiterated throughout our laws and government codes.”

All of that sounds like something that makes NO connection whatsoever to most parents or teachers or American citizens as to why they should fight this curriculum.

Here’s an example of the morality it contains.  If you’ve followed the Common Core at all you know that this is one of countless examples.  You could write about it all day, every day.

Here, I am going to provide you with a concrete example that shows the ugly heart of the Common Core. There is something deeply dark and offensive in this lesson created to support Common Core. It is a lesson designed to corrupt essential human decency.

The unit – sorry “module” – that I am using as an example is centered around To Kill a Mockingbird with the theme of “How individuals demonstrate individuality in the face of outside pressures.” At the beginning of all of this, it looks good. I love the book; it is a great American classic and I have taught it many times. The module includes 30 days of lessons associated with the novel and multiple additional short reading assignments. However, as I looked this module over, I became more and more concerned. For me to break down the many problems with this module in detail would take quite a while, so I am going to show you an example of one lesson on one short reading assignment that left me speechless with horror.

This assignment in the module includes a short story by Guy de Maupassant, 19th century writer famous forThe Necklace. Again, this seems rather innocent; this story is often included in high school texts, but not thisparticular story and, more importantly, not with this particular writing assignment.

The short story is The Mother of Monsters (link below). A quick summary of the story is that a gentleman on vacation is introduced to the Mother of Monsters, a local oddity described as a “peasant” and the “Devil”. Her story is that she finds herself pregnant while she is working as a simple serving girl. She binds her body with boards and cords to hide her growing belly. Her child is born horribly deformed. She takes care of the child, but resents it, until a sideshow man comes along and offers to buy the “thing” and to pay a yearly stipend for its use. Once she realizes how much money she can make, she repeats her pregnancy pattern by birthingmonster after monster after monster of intentionally deformed children to sell to showmen. She lives a “bourgeois” life as a result (note the stab at the bourgeois here).

The narrator is reminded of this “Devil” when he later sees a popular “Parissiane” strolling on a beach followed by admirers. Her three children are also all deformed because she wants to maintain her trim figure throughout her pregnancies, so she keeps her corset tightly cinched. Peasant and lady; different, yet the same. Both the Mother of Monsters. Both display a level of selfish evil that most humans would revile.

Now as a high school story, this story may have a lot of meat to chew on for discussion…for maybe 11th or 12thgraders, but this is a story assigned to incoming 9th graders, students who are 13 or 14 years old. Students this age are not ready to handle the truly disturbing elements of a story which reveals some of the most perverse sides of human nature. That is bad enough; however, it gets worse. You may wonder what this story has to do with To Kill a Mockingbird and the theme of individuality. Here is the writing assignment associated with this story:

Write an essay that compares the cultural experience reflected in To Kill a Mockingbird and The Mother of Monsters and explain how this experience helped a character demonstrate individuality in the face of outside pressure.

Individuality! Outside Pressure!!!! These women chose to deform their children for their own selfish gains or selfish vanity! The first pregnancy of the peasant woman we might forgive out of mercy, but the purposeful birthing of the rest of the 11 children that she intentionally deformed is unconscionable and unforgivable. The same holds with the Parisienne.

To judge these women as demonstrating their INDIVIDUALITY in the face of outside pressure is absurd and defies human decency. It is like insisting Jeffery Dahmer was expressing his individuality through cannibalistic murder. Additionally, it is not a major leap to conclude that if deforming your children in order to express your own individuality is acceptable, then killing your children to protect your individuality (or selfish inhumanity) is perfectly fine too. This is obviously a pro-abortion message. This story paired with this assignment is a repulsive perversion of the concept of “lesson”; it is a corruption of anything descent and good.

There is something deeply repulsive in this lesson, especially as it is aimed at students as young as 13. I have been told that I must teach this module. I can make some adjustments, but not too many. I am struggling to find a way to NOT perpetuate the ugliness found here. I am certainly NOT going to teach this story, though I may find myself in trouble with the system as a result. Some things are worth refusing to do even if there is a cost.

This is what is going on in our schools. This is what you need to see with open eyes. They are doing more than trying to increase rigor; they are indoctrinating our children into one way of thinking—their way! Schools should teach how to think, but never what to think. This is why we must fight what some are trying to sell us as “hope and change” to America.

Here’s an even  more thorough take down of Common Core.

The Law of Unintended Consequences and its corollary, The Government Messes Up Everything It Tries to Fix, plays out again with ethanol production

Two years ago, the newly-Democratic Congress struck a blow for a greener planet by demanding a level of ethanol production based on current estimates of gasoline use.  This delighted corn farmers and ethanol manufacturers, and most everyone else assumed that little harm could be done by growing more corn and turning it into something other than food.  No one thought about what a recession might do to gasoline demand, or how a parallel Democratic push to force automakers to produce more efficient cars would impact the need for all of the ethanol Congress demanded.

Great.  Now food prices are higher, impacting the poor that the Democrats insist they care about.  And the government may force higher ethanol ratios which could damage your car and increase pollution.

My Continental.com itinerary page had a convenient option where I could have donated $12.37 to Sustainable Travel International, a non-profit organization  faux guilt relief scam, to offset the CO2 used for these flights.  Here’s a better idea if you like to give to groups like that: Send your money to me and I’ll send you an encouraging email to pump up your fragile ego.  Or better yet, donate it to a real charity and then release some endorphins.

Robin of Berkeley explains why the left hates Sarah Palin — Yep.  If they just disagreed with her ideas and explained why it would be fine.  That’s what we do with Obama.  Yet we’re called racist for that?!  I have never said anything remotely insulting of Obama like what Liberals do with Palin.

The Left has declared war on Palin because she threatens their existence. Liberals need women dependent and scared so that women, like blacks, will vote Democrat.

Theological Liberals’ ethnocentric views on display as they claim that African Christians are manipulated into claiming that homosexual behavior is a sin.  What frauds.

A Massachusetts think tank has released a new report alleging that North American church renewal organizations are manipulating African churches and exporting hostile views of homosexuality.

“Globalizing the Culture Wars: U.S. Conservatives, African Churches, and Homophobia” has been authored by Political Research Associates (PRA), which labels itself “a progressive think tank devoted to supporting movements that are building a more just and inclusive democratic society.”

The organization says that its mission is to “expose movements, institutions, and ideologies that undermine human rights.” The PRA website lists projects promoting abortion advocacy, gay causes and challenging Christian right “theocracy.”

They are the real homophobes, as they are so fearful of the Politically Correct Police that they’ll deny common sense and the God they allegedly worship.

I know many African Christians and they were very disappointed when they heard that some U.S. churches were blessing same-sex behavior.  There wasn’t even a hint of them thinking, “Gee, you Americans are so darn smart, perhaps we should re-think our position.”  It was more a reaction of bewilderment.

Maybe if the theologicaly Liberal folks were authentic Christians and took the Bible seriously they’d notice these facts:

  • 100% of the verses addressing homosexual behavior denounce it as sin in the clearest and strongest possible terms.
  • 100% of the verses referencing God’s ideal for marriage involve one man and one woman.
  • 100% of the verses referencing parenting involve moms and dads with unique roles (or at least a set of male and female parents guiding the children).
  • 0% of 31,173 Bible verses refer to homosexual behavior in a positive or even benign way or even hint at the acceptability of homosexual unions.
