Whistleblower Cases Show Planned Parenthood Engages in Massive Fraud — Don’t expect to hear about this in the mainstream media.  This is why Planned Parenthood’s CEO campaigned full-time for Obama for a while and why they “donated” millions of the tax dollars they received to the Obama campaign.

Planned Parenthood insists it is a necessary and trusted healthcare provider that must be supported by taxpayer dollars. Recently unsealed “whistleblower” lawsuits[i] tell a starkly different story. Former Planned Parenthood employees allege improper and illegal corporate policies were implemented by Planned Parenthood to increase profits, to the detriment of both the taxpayers and the women and families government programs seek to serve.

In the most recently unsealed suit, Thayer v. Planned Parenthood of the Heartland,[ii] Sue Thayer, former manager for Planned Parenthood of the Heartland (PPH), alleges that PPH filed nearly one-half million false claims with Medicaid. According to Ms. Thayer’s complaint, PPH fraudulently received and retained nearly $28 million in taxpayer funding through abusive billing practices.

Ms. Thayer alleges that to enhance revenues, PPH implemented a “C-Mail” program that effectively mailed thousands of unrequested birth control pills to women, and then billed the government for these pills. According to her complaint, PPH also solicited funds from patients for services fully covered by government programs while continuing to bill the government program for full reimbursement.

But wait, there’s more: Planned Parenthood caught lying about its botched abortions.  Apparently and organization that kills unwanted human beings and perverts the minds of kids for a living doesn’t mind lying to help their business.

Our investigation exposes not only how unsafe Planned Parenthood clinics can be for women, but also how dishonest and untrustworthy Planned Parenthood is to the very women it claims to defend,” says Rose. “How shameful that two months after their clinic botched an abortion that took the life of 24-year old Tonya Reaves and her pre-born baby, Planned Parenthood lies to the public and pretends nothing happened. When it comes to the lethal dangers of its billion-dollar abortion business, no lie is too audacious for Planned Parenthood.

And one more on PP — they are using $12m of your tax dollars to ask for more tax dollars. Their CEO is taking a break from running the abortion machine to campaign full-time for Obama.  She knows where her money comes from!  One more reason to vote Romney.

Obama administration will pay companies to violate law governing layoff notices — shouldn’t this be front page news?  They are borrowing even more money from China for your kids to pay back, and just to further their personal political goals.

The Obama Administration’s disregard for the law has struck again—and this time, it’s encouraging others to violate the law at taxpayer expense.

That’s worth saying again: The Obama Administration is encouraging people to violate a law, and promising that it will use taxpayer money to cover fines incurred from this action.

The law: The law in question is called the WARN Act, and it requires that federal contractors send employees layoff notices 60 days before a plant closing or mass layoff.

The inconvenience: Massive defense spending cuts under sequestration are scheduled to hit on January 2, 2013. Defense contractors affected by the budget cuts would have to issue notice letters to employees by November 2 (four days before the election) to meet the January 2 start date for the spending cuts.

The penalty taxpayers would pay: Employers who violate the WARN Act are liable to their former employees for “back pay for each day of a violation” and “benefits under an employee benefit plan,” as well as a penalty of $500 for each day that notice has not been sent to the local government where the layoffs will occur.

From the “I am not making this up category” — Democrat of the Year Steals From Partially Blind, Developmentally Disabled Wheelchair-Bound Old Lady

The woman named “Democrat of The Year” this year by the Jefferson County Democratic Party has been convicted of felony theft by a Jefferson County jury for stealing from a developmentally disabled 71-year-old woman. …

On Thursday, a jury convicted 66-year-old Estelle Carson of felony identify theft and felony theft from an at risk adult for stealing checks from the woman and using them to pay her own cable, cell phone and internet bills.

The victim is partially blind, developmentally disabled, has cerebral palsy and is confined to a wheelchair. She is on a fixed income of $596 per month according to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office.

Nearly as bothersome as the theft itself … is the fact the Jefferson County Democratic Party was made aware of the ongoing criminal investigation and honored Carson anyway.

Yes, Benghazi is worse than Watergate. Sadly, the media is covering up the cover-up.  From John McCain:

You know, this administration is very good at touting and giving all the details like when they got Bin Laden. But now, we know that there were tapes, recordings inside the consulate during this fight, and they’ve gotten—they came—the F.B.I. finally got in and took those, and now they’re classified as “top secret.” Why would they be top secret? So the president went on various shows, despite what he said he said in the Rose Garden, about terrorist acts, he went on several programs, including “The View” including “Letterman” including before the U.N., where he continued to refer, days later, many days later, to this as a spontaneous demonstration because of a hateful video. We know that is patently false. What did the president know? When did he know it? And what did he do about it?

Like Alfred Kinsey, Obama HHS “Grooming” Children for Sex — these people should be in jail.

Kinsey, though married to a woman who took part in his many filmed “scientific” orgies, was a promiscuous homosexual and sadomasochist. He managed to completely upend and twist the world’s perception of human sexuality in the 1950s and ’60s with his world famous “Kinsey Reports.”

Even today, most are completely unaware that during his tenure at Indiana University, Kinsey facilitated, with stopwatches and ledgers, the systematic sexual abuse of hundreds, if not thousands, of children and infants – all in the name of science.

. . .

According to the FBI, child molesters:

  • Demonstrate sex acts to children. Offenders commonly use pornography to teach or give instructions to naïve children about how to masturbate, perform oral sex and/or engage in sexual intercourse.
  • Lower the sexual inhibitions of children. Some children naturally fear sexual activities. Some offenders show pictures of other children engaging in sexual activities to overcome these fears, indicating to their intended victims that it is all right to have sex with an adult because lots of other boys and girls do the same thing.
  • Desensitize children to sex. Offenders commonly show child pornography to their intended victims to expose them to sexual acts before they are naturally curious about such activities.
  • Sexually arouse children. Offenders commonly use pornographic images of other children to arouse victims, particularly those in adolescence.

During her lecture, Dr. Reisman shocked the 50-plus in attendance by illustrating that today’s Kinseyan-based sex education – as promoted by Obama’s HHS – does much of what the FBI describes above.

Stay classy, pro-aborts:

As I alluded to in response to a comment made on my post reporting on the recent pro-life rally in Melbourne, there are a couple of things that I felt would have been beneficial to exclude from the event. I mention what those are in the below paragraphs.

One of the more interesting points I noted with regards to the pro-abortion protesters in my previous article was the tactical angle of their messages:

  1. Shame, bigots, shame! Shame, bigots, shame!
  2. We won, you lost! We won, you lost!
  3. God raped Mary. She should have aborted
  4. Black, white, queer, straight! Women will control our fate!
  5. F*ck off, bigots, f*ck off! F*ck off, bigots, f*ck off!
  6. Jesus was a gay sheila who was pro-choice!
  7. You have 99 problems. They are all misogyny
  8. I had an abortion because I chose life
  9. Pro-choice is pro-life
  10. Not every ejaculation needs a name
  11. If the foetus you save is gay, will you still fight for it’s rights?
  12. My vagina has nothing to do with your God
  13. Jesus was not a fascist like these clowns

Contrast the above with these pro-life slogans espoused at the same event:

  1. Its easy to be ‘pro-choice’ when you’re not the one being killed
  2. Cruelty to animals is called ‘evil’. Torture to babies is called ‘choice’
  3. Lots of people want to adopt [but there’s] no babies!
  4. We kill an AFL Grand Final crowd each year
  5. Everyone deserves a birth-day
  6. Mums need support, not pressure to abort
  7. Every life is valuable
  8. Change the law. Save the babies. Help the mothers
  9. aDoPtion not aBoRtion
  10. Each life is unique from conception
  11. Pretend I’m a tree and save me
  12. Take my hand, not my life
  13. Pray to end abortion*

Throwing more money at education will not fix it.  More commentary here.  They should take a tiny portion of the budget and visit one-on-one with parents and caregivers and let them know that they are the key to the child’s success.  No amount of spending or government bureaucracy will overcome slacker parents.

I’m not getting it. If we’re spending so very much on education, why aren’t we the top? Why aren’t we the best educated people on the planet? Why do we keep trying to throw more money at it as if that will fix it? If throwing more money at it has not improved education, why do we continue to think that’s the answer? Or is that a learning problem, too?

Who is most gullible about bad science?

Surprise!  Via Liberals”more resemble the uneducated conservatives” in gullibility about science.

Gauchat himself never asked why the liberals seem relatively impervious to change over time — they are today at about the same place as they were in 1974 — and why the liberals more resemble the uneducated conservatives and moderates in his cohort, who have also been relatively resistant to change. That is a mystery worth delving into.

This helps explain why.  If you agree with the bad science you are more likely to cling to it and lose your healthy skepticism.

It may be relevant that in recent years there has been a number of well-publicized science frauds and much embarrassing politicization of science. One would expect better educated people to be more aware of these problems than less educated ones.

As for why liberals continue to believe, many of the frauds ( Diedrik Stapel comes to mind here) appeared to support their views (indeed, in many cases, that was precisely the point of the temptation for the fraudsters). So it may not be that much of a mystery.

Classic: Video showing how easy it is to commit voter fraud in D.C. — even posing as Eric Holder!

Sure, we don’t need voter ID laws!  They are totally racist.  No one would ever cheat a system this robust, right?

I ask anyone who is anti-voter ID to watch this and explain to me why voter ID laws are bad.  It includes the predictable “show us your ID” requirement at the Dept. of Justice, the same folks fighting voter ID laws.

Global warming? Did I say global warming? What I really meant to say was global freezing.

Will the public school children who were forced to watch An Inconvenient Truth be getting an apology from Al Gore and everyone else involved in that escapade?

It is bad news for the global warming / global climate change fraud perpetrators when parts of the mainstream media can’t ignore the truth any longer: Forget global warming – it’s Cycle 25 we need to worry about (and if NASA scientists are right the Thames will be freezing over again). But this is very good news for those who may be saved from the unprecedented money and power grab that is “global climate change.”

The supposed ‘consensus’ on man-made global warming is facing an inconvenient challenge after the release of new temperature data showing the planet has not warmed for the past 15 years.

The figures suggest that we could even be heading for a mini ice age to rival the 70-year temperature drop that saw frost fairs held on the Thames in the 17th Century.

Based on readings from more than 30,000 measuring stations, the data was issued last week without fanfare by the Met Office and the University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit. It confirms that the rising trend in world temperatures ended in 1997.

I think we should take this advice: Scientists to Politicians: Let’s Put Climate Alarmism on Hold for 50 Years

It is very illuminating that the Darwin lobby is now branching out to support the climate change hoax.  The parallels are so similar: lack of evidence or even contrary evidence, threats to punish dissenters, deep desire to indoctrinate kids and not let them consider contrary views, etc.

I know this is stating the obvious, but it bears repeating: Obama supports abortion tax in Senate healthcare plan.  He and other Democrats lied over and over about this.

877 snowfall records were set last week in the USA — and several other reasons why the AGW (“global warming”) hypothesis has been falsified.

Keep in mind that some of the “haters” the media shows you are fakes

Charter Schools: Why Can’t Republicans Make This Issue A Winner? — read it all.  These schools are better for the kids and would be a great issue to highlight why conservative principles succeed.

Republicans do a lot of hand wringing, trying to figure out how to make the Republican Party and conservative governance relevant to the minority community. (This is New Orleans, remember, and the public school system is 95% African-American.) Charter schools are a way to do it without pandering. People will notice when their children achieve in school. And rather than wasting taxpayer dollars, it just makes sense to spend it raising a more educated and more employable voter.

Sophie B. Wright Middle School was a typical Orleans Parish public school. It had failed utterly, to the point that the School Board was considering closing it and using the physical plant as an alternative high school.

But instead, in 2005, the school became Spohie B. Wright Charter School, headed by Principal Sharon Clark.

In many respects, Wright’s dramatic improvement since it became a charter — it now ranks among the city’s most promising public schools without admissions requirements — illustrates the charter model’s greatest strengths.

Top 10 Most Ridiculous Uses of Stimulus Funds — Yeah, this is what the Founding Fathers had in mind for the Federal Government.  A few:

10.  A $427,824 research grant to design better video games for senior citizens based on their unique “game-play needs”.

7.  Funding a $447,492 Univ. of North Carolina study on the development and use of “African American English” amongst 70 adolescents.

5.  An academic study comparing outcomes of the concurrent and separate use of malt liquor and marijuana ($389, 357).

2.  A $54 million project to relocate one bridge for the Napa Valley Wine Train (!) in order to mitigate the possible impact of a “100 year storm event”.

Roman Polanski ‘overwhelmed by . . . messages of support and sympathy’ (Mostly from Charlie Sheen I’d guess) — Because “award-winning film directors [who] anally rape Qaalude-dosed 13-year-olds” deserve support and sympathy, right?

Why do so many believe in fake conspiracies yet ignore the real global warming fraud?

Lisa Simpson: According to Junior Skeptic magazine the chances are 175 million to one of another form of life actually coming into contact with ours.

Homer: So?

Lisa: It’s just that the people who claim they’ve seen aliens are always pathetic low-lifes with boring jobs . . . oh, and you, Dad . . . heh heh.

An Apologetics.com Podcast on logic mentioned how over 70% of people polled believe in some sort of JFK conspiracy, over 30% believe that 9/11 was an inside job and a large amount believe the government is covering up alien activity.

So why don’t people get excited over the very real conspiracy behind the man-made global warming fraud?  The media continues to ignore it.  The Houston Chronicle had an article buried that noted the controversy but focused on the “experts” who still claim that warming is real — you know, the folks whose livelihoods depend on perpetuating the myth.  The Chronicle didn’t bother to list the evidence. Another article didn’t even mention the controversy.

If you only get your news from the mainstream media you are being fooled daily.

Great points by Ann Coulter:

These e-mails aren’t a tempest in a teapot. They are evidence of pervasive fraud by a massively influential institution that has dominated news coverage of global warming.

CRU was regularly cited as the leading authority on “global climate analysis” — including by the very news outlets that are burying the current scandal, such as The New York Times and The Washington Post. The CRU alone received more than $23 million in taxpayer funds for its work on global warming.

. . .

Most disturbingly, the CRU-affiliated “scientists” were caught red-handed conspiring to kill the careers and reputations of scientists who dissented from the religion of global warming. Indignant that scientific journals were publishing papers skeptical of global warming, the cult members plotted to get editors ousted and the publications discredited.

This sabotage of global warming dissenters may be more galling than their manipulation of the data. Until now, the global warming cult’s sole argument has been to demand that everyone shut up in response to the “scientific consensus” that human activity was causing global warming.

A good summary of the Great Global Warming Fraud

The Global Warming Fraud is one of the great scandals ever, using faked science to generate a worldwide political power grab, massive tax increases and job destruction and earning billions of dollars for its proponents — all with no exit strategy.  Not surprisingly, pro-abortion groups wanted in on the game to fund abortions around the world.

Via The Great Global Warming Fraud – Erick’s blog – RedState, here is what the GW proponents did, as revealed in their emails:

  1. Prominent environmental scientists organize a boycott of scientific journals if those journals publish scholarly material from global warming dissidents.
  2. The scientists then orchestrate attacks on the dissidents because of their lack of scholarly material published in scientific journals.
  3. The scientists block from the UN’s report on global warming evidence that is harmful to the anthropogenic global warming consensus.
  4. The scientists, when faced with a freedom of information act request for their correspondence and data, delete the correspondence and data lest it be used against them.
  5. The scientists fabricate data when their data fails to prove the earth is warming. In fact, in more than one case, scientists engaged in lengthy emails on how to insert additional made up data that would in turn cause their claims to stand out as legitimate.

The liars were caught lying.  And aren’t these the folks who had the nerve to say we were as bad as holocaust deniers?  Where is the mainstream media?!  Why isn’t this front page, non-stop news?

Shocking: The NY Times won’t publish the emails.

Naivete can be so costly

You might think that Obama fans would have learned not to trust his promises.  He promised cooperation but is more radically Left than any President has been or hopefully will be.  Afghanistan was the “good war,” but he is doing everything he can to lose it (by doing nothing).  And on and on.

So why do people believe the health care fictions?

Even without the lies behind sneaking taxpayer-funded abortion to the health care ill it is still an awful idea.  People argue by anecdote with problems in the current system.  Conservatives agree and offer solutions that are ignored, such as tort reform and increased competition.  But people still want to turn control of this over to the Federal government knowing that it will be almost impossible to ever get it back.

I’m just pointing out what should be obvious: Eliminating insurance and giving all the power to the government is a bad idea and it is not a logical conclusion from the premise that insurance companies have flaws.  Using that logic, they should concede that since Medicare is already experiencing $60 BILLION in fraud that giving even more to the government is just begging for more fraud.

Or they should concede that stories of bad care with socialized medicine would make us stay with private carriers.

Perhaps the solution is a little more complicated than just turning over control to the Federal government and hoping for the best.

Some argue that health care is too important to leave to the private sector.  But what about food?  That is even more important.  By that logic the government would take over food production and more.

Questions for those wanting government to completely control health care:

  • Do you find government agencies to be more customer oriented than other businesses?
  • Do you find their employees to be more qualified than those in the private sector?
  • Do you get better service from monopolies or from businesses who must compete?
  • Do you get better service from contractors if you pre-pay or if they get paid when the work is done?

The latest ACORN video.  But Fox definitely shouldn’t mention this in the news, right?

Breitbart to Eric Holder: Investigate ACORN, or else — As if the videos to date aren’t enough, there are more shoes to drop.  I’m with the author:

Principle over party, Attorney General.  Or your party gets hammered.  Your call.  Speaking as a Republican, I hope that you try to keep stonewalling; speaking as an American (which takes precedence), I suggest that you don’t.

Surprise!  Global warming proponents play the same as evolutionists do: “Your views aren’t science because they aren’t in peer reviewed journals and they can’t be in peer reviewed journals because they aren’t science.”  And if they if they do make it into a peer reviewed journal, then just insist that the peer reviewed journal is no longer valid.  Either that, or destroy whoever let the view in.  Voila!  How very scientific and ethical.  Heh.

More problems for Al Gore & Co., if only the media would report them and ensure that everyone who saw An Inconvenient Truth were aware of them: Global warming hysterics burned by predictions.

People are rightly outraged at fraud, but are wildly naive to think it only happens in business.  There is already a ton of fraud with the TARP funds and other government programs.  Who’d have thought that would happen?  I mean, just because a massive amount of money is thrown around with little controls, why would that attract bad guys?

Liberal media rep Norah O’Donnell tries to play “gotcha” with 17 year old — She interviewed her once, then gathered some data, then turned the cameras on.  But no media bias here, folks!  Now maybe Norah could question Obama & Co. over all their health care lies and broken promises of bi-artisanship.

Jesse Jackson: “You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man” — I’d say you shouldn’t be pro-legalized abortion and call yourself a black man.

Some good news from the I am not making this up categoryThe NY Times published a balanced front-page article on pro-lifers and even included photos of aborted babies.  “Pro-lifers are portrayed as smart, convicted, and compelling.”  Wow!

Carlotta [check out her new blog format!] had a good summary of President Obama’s speech to the Human Rights Campaign, a pro-gay “rights” group.  Obama’s comments on oxymoronic same-sex marriage were not surprising, even though they contradict his campaign rhetoric and are 180 degrees different than God’s view on the matter:

You will see a time in which we as a nation finally recognize relationships between two men or two women as just as real and admirable as relationships between a man and a woman.

It shows how low we’ve sunk that someone could make such a statement and be taken seriously by part of the population.

Richard Dawkins cites fraudulent research, runs from public debate — Why won’t he debate Stephen Meyers?

Darwinian fundamentalist Ernst Haeckel’s embryo drawings were discredited as a fraud in the 19th century.

Yet they remained in high school textbooks for many decades and were used without criticism by Dawkins in a 2008 video!  What utter dishonesty.  He has to know how fraudulent they were.  Apparently he hasn’t evolved to see the benefits of honesty.  But you can totally trust what he writes in his books, right?

His [Dawkins’] popular brand of invincible ignorance coupled with foam-flecked fanaticism sells a lot of hymnals written for the kool-aid drinking choir. It’s not about science, it’s about creating your own private world where everyone is stupid except you. Dawkins is a self-help author for those raised by fundamentalist parents. It’s escapism. And if anyone asks them to debate, they can just deploy some insults and call it a day. Whatever sells books, right?

Dawkins does remind me a bit of Homer Simpson (“Everyone is stupid except me”).

Did you know that artificial breasts for a transexual are a “human right” as well?

A transsexual refused breast enlargement surgery on the NHS is to take her [sic] case to the High Court, at a cost of tens of thousands of pounds to the hospital’s budget.

The legally aided gender dysphoria sufferer, who has been living as a woman for over 10 years, says breast augmentation is essential to her [sic] female identity and emotional well-being and the refusal to give her [sic] the op amounts to sex discrimination.

Fulfilling that right via socialized medicine is way more important than pesky little problems like this one:

An 80-year-old grandmother who doctors identified as terminally ill and left to starve to death has recovered after her outraged daughter intervened.

Hazel Fenton, from East Sussex, is alive nine months after medics ruled she had only days to live, withdrew her antibiotics and denied her artificial feeding. The former school matron had been placed on a controversial care plan intended to ease the last days of dying patients.
