Here are at least 8 specific video taped promises by President Obama that health care negotiations will take place on C-SPAN. The reality couldn’t be worse: The talks are more clandestine than ever and have been designed to keep Republicans out completely. This is the opposite of transparency.

This is transparency in the eyes of Democrats: votes being held in the middle of the night, political bribes and favors being used to buy off hesitant politicians, and secret committees.

Moonbattiest Ravings of 2009 — these are mainstream people saying the most bizarre things. And they are still on the air. Samples:

So the House passed the Waxman-Markey climate-change bill. In political terms, it was a remarkable achievement. But 212 representatives voted no. A handful of these no votes came from representatives who considered the bill too weak, but most rejected the bill because they rejected the whole notion that we have to do something about greenhouse gases. And as I watched the deniers make their arguments, I couldn’t help thinking that I was watching a form of treason — treason against the planet. Paul Krugman

Once you redefine marriage as “not just between one man and one woman” then how can you argue against other perversions?
Excerpt: “Adherents call it responsible non-monogamy or polyamory, and the nontraditional practice is creeping out of the closet, making gay marriage feel somewhat last decade here in Massachusetts. What literally translates to “loving many,” polyamory (or poly, for short), a term coined around 1990, refers to consensual, romantic love with more than one person.”
If you click through to Alisha’s post, she has a video of some polyamorous people explaining how polyamory meets their needs, and doesn’t hurt children. This is the next phase of “love makes a family”.
