A great take down of Planned Parenthood’s distortions of MLK

Don’t miss Dear Cecile Richards: MLK did not support black genocide.  People who kill unwanted babies for a living don’t mind making things up.  I’ve also seen radical pro-abortionist, false teaching, race-baiting Chuck “Jesus is not the only way” Currie pretend that MLK was pro-abortion.

Dear Cecile Richards,

Please stop abusing civil rights history to justify your present-day killing fields. Martin Luther King Jr’s memory is not a dummy that you can manipulate like a ventriloquist. Although he regrettably accepted the inaugural Margaret Sanger Award from the nation’s largest birth control chain in 1966, he wasn’t praising the slaughter of millions that Planned Parenthood was plotting to make central to its mission.

The nation’s abortionist-in-chief tweeting about Juneteenth, a celebration of the abolition of the dehumanizing institution of slavery, is like China celebrating freedom of speech. “No one is free until all are free” apparently doesn’t apply to the millions of innocent human beings Planned Parenthood grinds in industrial garbage disposals, flushes down drains or stuffs into biohazard waste bags.

As with everything else with your billion-dollar empire, one has to put things into a truthful context. In 1966, abortion wasn’t legal. MLK wasn’t praising the dismembering and suctioning of defenseless human beings. He, like many others during the 60s when Planned Parenthood feigned advocacy of strong families, was duped by an industry birthed in eugenic racism, that preached overpopulation mythology, demanded discriminatory immigration policies, and promoted forced sterilizations through its state eugenics boards. By the way, Elaine Riddick sends her love. Thanks to Planned Parenthood, she was one of over 60,000 people sterilized as part of your organization’s “proud” history. If

you want to accurately depict history, Maafa21 is a great resource.

“The Holocaust was probably less than 3% of Germany’s budget” and other responses to Planned Parenthood distortions

Much has been made of Planned Parenthood’s marketing spin about “only” 3% of their services being abortions.  This is one of their lead arguments and it has been quickly swallowed and advanced by their supporters.  It is part of their effective campaign to conflate abortions (which are increasingly unpopular — especially with young people) with birth control (which most people reflexively support).  Yes, it is deceptive, but remember that Satan is evil, not stupid.  They could separate the businesses tomorrow and have zero problems getting funding for the contraceptive side, but that will never happen.

Here are some quick responses to make when you hear the “only 3%” line.

1. So?  The Holocaust was probably less than 3% of Germany’s budget.  If part of an organization’s charter involves killing innocent but unwanted human beings, then I don’t really care what other good they allegedly do.

2. I didn’t notice a wedge in the pie chart for systematically hiding statutory rape and sex trafficking.  How much of their resources are dedicated to those well-documented activities, and shouldn’t those who perpetuate those crimes be in jail instead of getting massive Federal funding?  [Note: Human sex trafficking is one of those rare issues that unites Liberals and Conservatives, so this is a great topic to focus on.]

3. The 3% figure deliberately understates the situation.  Just do some simple math: They did 329,000 abortions for 3,000,000 clients.  That means 11% of the people walking through the doors got abortions (or, more specifically, 11% of the people came in carrying an innocent but unwanted human being but left alone).  And it is very likely that abortions consumed even more services than average.

4. HP’s PC Division sells far more accessories than computers, but which is their primary business?  You need to look at where PP gets most of their revenue, which is from abortions.  PP doesn’t pay these salaries based on how many condoms they give away, they get it from performing 329,455 abortions. (P.S. They are the 1% so I hope the Occupy Crowd protests them.)

Please commit a couple of those responses to memory and don’t let people get away with the “only 3%” distortion.  Feel free to copy and paste without attribution.

Komen caves?

There was a reason I cautioned against donating to Komen until they proved they wouldn’t support Planned Parenthood again.  See Breaking: Komen announces that Planned Parenthood eligibility for funding will continue.

Regardless of where this ends up, their Netflix-style leadership has been horrible.  That alone is a reason to avoid them for now.  They should have known more about PP before they started funding them.  Breaking off relations with a group whose primary purpose is destroying human life is bound to be messy. Now Komen has managed to alienate both sides.

Will they be refunding all the donations that pro-lifers made yesterday?  That would be the honest thing to do.

Side note: Much has been made of the “abortions are only 3% of the services provided” statistical game PP plays.  Click here for an excellent analysis of that.

First, I don’t care if killing innocent human beings is only 0.00001% of your business model.  If it is more than zero then I won’t support you.   Same thing for systematically hiding statutory rape and sex trafficking.

Just dig a little deeper on those PP stats. Clients obviously get multiple services, as 1 out of 9 got an abortion. So the figure is at least 11%.  Women are 400 times more likely to get an abortion than to be referred for an adoption.

And as Abby Johnson (former PP director) will attest, they get a lot of pressure to increase abortions (as opposed to getting pressure to pass out condoms or do pap smears).

And where does their revenue come from? PP doesn’t pay these salaries based on how many condoms they give away, they get it from performing 329,455 abortions. (P.S. They are the 1% so I hope the Occupy Crowd protests them.)

I’m with Kevin DeYoung:

So for whatever useful purposes they may serve on ocassion, I’m not ashamed to admit that of all the things I don’t trust in the world two of them at the top of the list are statistics and Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood overview

Here are some facts about Planned Parenthood, any one of which should render them ineligible for any government funding, let alone why the leaders should be jailed.

1. They crush and dismember innocent but unwanted human beings for a living.  Abortion is not health care.  That is their primary revenue source, but even if it wasn’t that would be all you need to know.

2. They have been caught countless times, both on audio and on video, hiding statutory rape.  That alone should result in them being not only being de-funded but put out of business.  Businesses who commit serial felonies don’t get to point to other (alleged) good things they do to avoid responsibility.

See Planned Parenthood Never Told Parents of Abortion on Raped 12-Year-Old for an example.  They will kill your grandchild, perform an incredibly serious surgery on your daughter and protect her rapist — for a fee.  Oh, and using your taxes.  It is so sad that false teachers support them and claim Jesus’ support for it.  Such blasphemy!

3. They have been caught many times hiding sex trafficking, which includes victims of human trafficking.

4. Their CEO falsely claimed that Planned Parenthood provides mammograms and that a loss of Federal funding would end these.  How many CEOs don’t know what services their organization provides?  Was this incompetence or a deliberate lie about a highly emotional, most-favored-disease issue to sustain public funding for her organization?  Why hasn’t she or the mainstream media highlighted and corrected this error?

5. Planned Parenthood is not the only provider of these non-abortion services.  If taxpayer funding of PP ended these services could easily be provided elsewhere – preferably somewhere that doesn’t kill humans beings, hide statutory rape, hide sex traffickers / human traffickers, etc.

6. According to PP’s own research arm, 54% of abortions are performed on women who were on birth control.  Their business model is not working to prevent pregnancies, it is working to generate abortions.  That statistic exposes the lie that more birth control distribution will reduce abortions.  PP wants to reduce abortions in the same way McDonald’s wants to sell less hamburgers.

7. Margaret Sanger, PP’s founder, was a racist eugenicist.  Some of her quotes are here.

8. Planned Parenthood targets minorities and is the largest provider of abortions in the U.S.  Abortion rates for blacks are 3x that of whites and the rate for HIspanics is 2x that of whites.  Margaret’s dream lives on.

9. They aggressively promote their worldview to teens, encouraging them to ignore their parents and their religion, via their public school lessons and their youth website, Teenwire. They put up billboards telling kids that “Getting it on is free.”  They discourage parents from viewing it, of course. You can find lots of valuable advice [sarcasm intended], like the tidbit from a 14-year-old girl who said that kids shouldn’t have sex until they are mature enough to know how to use a condom and their official advice that, “Hooking up is only one way to get close to someone.” They regularly promote anal sex as a good way to avoid pregnancy (technically true, though it won’t prevent disease transmission and is not advice most people want their kids to hear).

It follows the same philosophy they use in the classroom, which is to steer kids away from parental authority and to make decisions about sexuality on their own. They don’t offer any limits to children, other than telling them that the kids should decide when they are “ready.” They encourage them to experiment with sex and their sexual orientation.

Most of the offenses are too perverse to list on this blog, but here is a sample of how they encourage kids to ignore their parents and their religion (from the Canada site; the link to the original post from Dawn Eden’s site is broken):

Maybe your religion or parents are influencing your decision. Take control. Remind yourself that what you do is always a choice. You choose whether to follow the values of your religion. You choose whether to be honest with your parents. They may not be easy choices, and others may not agree with the choices you make. But they are still YOUR choices and they should be based on what’s important to you.

10. Planned Parent used to claim that “An abortion kills the life of a baby after it has begun.” At least that was their view in this 1964 advertisement. Did they learn anything about science in the few years after that when they changed their minds? Of course not. Science couldn’t be more clear: A new human being is created at conception.  Planned Parenthood is about making money off abortions and about advancing their perverse ideology with your money.

Do not miss this video, but don’t let your kids watch it, either:

11. PP has not accounted for millions of dollars given to them.

12. If PP’s supporters care so much for these non-abortion services, why don’t they open their own wallets and give?  There are more crisis pregnancy centers than abortion clinics, and nearly all run with no government funding (the center where I’m a volunteer and board member refuses any government funds).  It doesn’t seem very pro-choice to force people to fund the array of perversions, immorality and broken laws we see with Planned Parenthood.

13. PP doesn’t pay these salaries based on how many condoms they give away, they get it from performing 329,455 abortions. (P.S. they are the 1%.).  Note that these have gone up substantially in recent years.

14.  PP encourages gender-selection abortions.

15.  PP encourages Medicaid fraud.  More here and here.

16. PP encourages their employees to lie about breaking laws but will not protect them.

17. They aggressively promote filth to youth — they assume that every relationship will involve sex and that you will go from one sex relationship to another.  They pretend that people will actually follow their advice (Yeah, sure, people will always use condoms for oral sex.  Because gays would never rebel and break any safe sex rules!)

18. Planned Parenthood lies about its botched abortions.  Apparently and organization that kills unwanted human beings and perverts the minds of kids for a living doesn’t mind lying to help their business.

Our investigation exposes not only how unsafe Planned Parenthood clinics can be for women, but also how dishonest and untrustworthy Planned Parenthood is to the very women it claims to defend,” says Rose. “How shameful that two months after their clinic botched an abortion that took the life of 24-year old Tonya Reaves and her pre-born baby, Planned Parenthood lies to the public and pretends nothing happened. When it comes to the lethal dangers of its billion-dollar abortion business, no lie is too audacious for Planned Parenthood.

19. They would rather go back on their word and destroy a breast cancer charity than part ways amicably.

20. They try to deceive people by saying that only 3% of their business is abortion-related.  But 10% of the clients get abortion, and each one gets lots of services.  And even if 0.000001% of their business was from killing unwanted human beings they should be shut down.  A full analysis is here.

21. Former Planned Parenthood worker: ‘It was a money-grubbing, evil, very sad, sad place to work’ – Your tax dollars at work.

Marianne Anderson is a nurse who assisted Planned Parenthood abortionists by partially sedating women who paid extra for that luxury.  She told The Criterion newspaper that she saw many women pressured into abortions they did not want, including minor girls.

“One young girl came in with her mom,” Anderson told the paper.  “She was about 16. Her mom had made the appointment. That’s not supposed to be how it works. It’s supposed to only be the patient who makes the appointment. I checked her in, and she thought she was there for a prenatal checkup. The mom was pushing it. She blindsided her own daughter.”

Another time, said Anderson, “This guy brought in a Korean girl. I had no doubt in my mind this girl was a sex slave. This guy would not leave her side. They could barely communicate. He wanted to make all the arrangements.  During the ultrasound, she told one of the nurses that there were lots of girls in the house, and that the man hits them. She never came back for the abortion. I always wondered what happened to her. One of my co-workers said, ‘You’re better off to just let it go.’”

When women cried during the abortion procedure, Anderson said, abortionist Michael King would shame them. “These girls would start crying on the table, and Dr. King would say, ‘Now you chose to be here. Sit still. I don’t have time for this.’”

“One doctor, when he was in the POC [products of conception] room, would talk to the aborted baby while looking for all the parts. ‘Come on, little arm, I know you’re here! Now you stop hiding from me!’ It just made me sick to my stomach,” Anderson said. “The sound the suction machine made when it turned on still haunts me.”

Anderson told The Criterion she started working at the facility because she believed that as long as women were having abortions, they should be safe about it.

But Anderson quickly abandoned her illusions of safety once she began work at Planned Parenthood.  “I started feeling uneasy working there when people came from national in New York City to teach us the conscious sedation process,” Anderson told the paper.  “It was disgusting. These two ladies had this chant they would do: ‘Abortion all the time!’ I thought, ‘I’ve got to get out of here.’ That was about six to eight months after I started.”

Anderson said the overall experience of working for Planned Parenthood was “absolutely miserable.”

“It was a money-grubbing, evil, very sad, sad place to work,” she said. “I was always getting in trouble for talking too long to the girls, asking if they were sure they wanted to do this.”

22.  They market bondage, discipline/domination, sadism and masochism to teens.

23. They tell teens that the number of sex partners they have is irrelevant. See Planned Parenthood Tells Teens Nothing Wrong With Multiple Sex Partners

24. Now they have been caught lying about doing prenatal care. 92 out of 97 affiliates contacted admitted they do nothing of the sort.

Another day, another sting catching Planned Parenthood lying

Defund them.  Now.

This lie is actually pretty tame relative to their serial hiding of statutory rape and covering up for sex traffickers (Oh, and the fact that they destroy unwanted human beings for a living).  But it is still a lie. They don’t do mammograms anywhere.

Memo to those who want PP funded: Open your own wallets, just like pro-lifers do for crisis pregnancy centers.  If you think they are so swell, then spend your own money.

Live Action has just released findings of a new undercover investigation of Planned Parenthood.

This time LA fact-checked CEO Cecile Richards’ recent claim on the Joy Behar Show that if PP is defunded “millions of women in this country are going to lose their health care access, not to abortion services, to basic family planning – you know, mammograms, cancer screenings, cervical cancer.”

Wait, mammograms?

No. An LA actor called 30 PPs in 27 states to always get the same answer: No mammograms here.

Roundup: De-funding Planned Parenthood

I love to see politicians doing something right for a change, like de-funding Planned Parenthood, one of the most vile, racist organizations on the planet (I say that without hyperbole).  They have been busted hiding statutory rape and covering up underage prostitution.  They have taught teens to ignore the morals of their religions and their parents.  They kill unborn human beings for a living.  They were founded by a racist eugenicist.  And so much more.

If pro-aborts want to exercise their “choice” to fund Planned Parenthood, then that sick, sick organization will be glad to cash their checks.  But they shouldn’t force their pro-abortion views on other taxpayers and make them part of the killing machine.

Abortion is the greatest moral issue of our time.  What are you doing about it?  If you are a Christian you should be voting against the destruction of innocent human beings every chance you get.  Sadly, too many Christians (the uninformed kind) and “Christians” (the fake kind) keep abortion legal.

It is great news that the House did the right thing, but the work isn’t over.  The Senate will be a harder battle.  But the good news is that the evils of PP will be more publicized (though still not enough by the pro-abort mainstream media).  The more people know the less they’ll support PP.

Kudos to the House for restoring a cornucopia of pro-life policies

Ramen Noodles, the official food of the pro-life movement

The House is currently debating the GOP proposal to de-fund Planned Parenthood.

Abortion radicals are raging mad.

Raging mad that Republicans are exposing the abortion predators with story after story of criminal negligence, death, and exploitation at America’s taxpayer-subsidized death clinics.

Raging mad that Republican women dare to talk about the psychological harm and trauma to young women lured to Planned Parenthood and kept in the dark about abortion alternatives.

And mad that Republicans are describing in graphic detail the procedures used to rid the world of The Unplanned.

Most macabre abortion defense of the night so far: Just a little while ago on the floor, Wisconsin Democrat Rep. Gwen Moore argued that abortion was better for unplanned babies than a life “eating Ramen noodles” or “mayonnaise sandwiches.”

Oh, the humanity — some kids might have to eat Ramen Noodles – just like my family!

And this gem from Democrat Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (an embarrassment from the Houston area):

This is not about abortion, this is about saving lives.

They use that self-parodying fallacy so often they don’t even realize they are doing it.  It is the foundationally bad  reasoning underlying nearly every pro-abortion argument: Assuming what you should be proving, namely that abortion doesn’t kill an innocent human being.

From Jill Stanek:

Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards condemns House passage on February 18 of an amendment that would defund PP. “It’s funding that saves lives, and they killed it”…

Yep, because PP is all about “saving lives” and not killing things . . .

Pro-abort congress members speak against the de-funding of Planned Parenthood by arguing by (irrelevant) anecdote and their classic “better dead than poor” rationale (which, btw, would mean these pro-aborts think 90% of the world should be dead).   One congresswoman is being made some sort of pro-abort heroine because she inserted her miscarriage story after a description of a second trimester abortion.

Why do pro-aborts still trot out the “coat hanger abortion” canard while ignoring the damage done by “safe and legal” abortion mills?

Make no mistake: Planned Parenthood is in the abortion business.

From 2002-2008, Planned Parenthood received more than $342 million in federal taxpayer money through Title X funding alone. In its 2008-2009 annual report, Planned Parenthood revealed that it received $363.2 million in various federal, state, and local government grants and contracts for that fiscal year, a significant increase from the prior year. During that same time period, they performed an unprecedented 324,008 abortions, which equates to 888 abortions each and every day.

If the number of abortions performed alone doesn’t convince you of Planned Parenthood’s agenda, just compare that number with other services the organization provides to pregnant women. In 2008, their number of adoption referrals dropped a staggering 51 percent from the prior year to a meager 2,405. Additionally, the number of prenatal clients they served was less than 0.09 percent of the total services provided by Planned Parenthood in 2008. Pregnant women seeking help from Planned Parenthood were 27 times more likely to receive an abortion than to receive prenatal care or be referred for adoption. That is an appalling and heartbreaking statistic.

Lila Rose on Glenn Beck

Then there is this false teacher who doubles down on Planned Parenthood but forgets to mention their serial hiding of both statutory rape and underage illegal alien prostitution.  How convenient.  I guess if you don’t mention it then it didn’t happen.  See House Republicans Continue Assault On Women; Religious Leaders Oppose De-funding Planned Parenthood, written by false teacher Chuck “Jesus is not the only way” Currie, who is pro-legalized abortion and wants taxpayer-funded abortions but hypocritically mentions Jesus’ concern for the “least of these” in many of his posts.

As a minister in the United Church of Christ, I will continue to speak out in support of Planned Parenthood and their critical mission of providing health care. This attempt to strip away the rights of women to make their own reproductive health care choices cannot be allowed to stand.

Chuck appears to be as ignorant of basic science as he is about Christianity and economics: He doesn’t realize that abortion occurs after two people have reproduced and made a new human being.

But why didn’t Chuck even mention Planned Parenthood’s serial hiding of statutory rape. Is it good for women if you hide statutory rape so you can make money off abortions?  Chuck thinks it is a moral good to take 6 yr. old girls to gay pride parades.  You’d think that at least his atheist wife (yeah, he’s not much of an evangelist, is he?) would have enough human decency to stop that.  If his girls have 30 yr. old boyfriends when they are 13, will Chuck be glad PP is there to hide the crime of statutory rape and to kill his grandchild?

And why didn’t he mention how Planned Parenthood had been busted hiding traffickers of underage, illegal prostitution?  How does he reconcile that with his faux concern for others?

I will say this for people like Chuck: They make it easy to spot fake Christians.  Man, these guys aren’t even trying anymore!

Then there’s this big lie.

Planned Parenthood is proud of its vital role in providing young people with honest sexuality and relationship information in classrooms and online to help reduce our nation’s alarmingly high rates of teen pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections.

Planned Parenthood helped cause the increase in STDs by giving false hope of the effectiveness of condoms and more.

Chuck also quotes the deceptively named Religious Coalition  for Reproductive Choice (they appear to be equally ignorant about science):

As a coalition sustained by our faith and pursuit for social justice, the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice asks: Where is the justice in destroying services that support responsible behaviors and healthy life styles? The answer is obvious: there is no justice and no compassion. These cuts must be stopped by the Senate because they are morally indefensible.

How can these moral freaks prattle on about justice, compassion and morality when their sole concern is to increase this? And if PP is such a swell organization, why don’t they contribute themselves instead of forcing other taxpayers to?

Looks like Planned Parenthood will get nailed by a series of undercover videos. Again.

And the mainstream media will look the other way.  Again.  And Congress will keep giving them hundreds of millions of your tax dollars.  See After all, sex traffickers need Planned Parenthood, too – Jill Stanek.

This time PP is trying to get ahead of the embarrassment, but they are fumbling because they don’t know the content of the videos.  Apparently they don’t just aggressively and systematically hide statutory rape, they are willing to hide underage sex workers (slaves would be a more accurate term).  Why do people expect decent, law-abiding behavior from those who kill innocent human beings for a living?

P.S. I agree with Planned Parenthood’s view: “An abortion kills the life of a baby after it has begun” At least that was their view in this 1964 advertisement. Did they learn anything about science in the few years after that when they changed their minds? Of course not. Science couldn’t be more clear: A new human being is created at conception.
