Petition to save the show

Background:

From November 3rd to (as of now, may be extended longer) November 19th, fans will be sending a letter a day to ABC requesting they renew ‘Daisies’. We want to flood their boxes with mail for daisies for a week.

You are encouraged to send daisies (paper or real) Daisy seeds, Bouquets of Daisies, Pies (also paper or real) or just a letter. Send a few a day if you can afford it!

**Emailing is a great, but please send a tangible letter also. Having a full mailbox right there in front of them as opposed to on the internet sends a more powerful message.

Write to: ABC, Inc. 500 S. Buena Vista Street Burbank, CA 91521-4551

Email them here.

ALSO- Sign the petition. You can technically sign it as many times as you want, with only one email address. (Use different names) I have a friend who has signed it a LOT.

Finally, WATCH THE SHOW! Turn on all the tv’s in the house! leave on the online episode player for the latest episode while you’re out shopping! Anything to help the ratings!!

If anyone has any questions, email me at gradjake2011@gmail.com.

Thank you!

18 to 1

I am sickened by the over the top bias against Sarah Palin.  I mean, we expect the media to be biased – even very biased – but for the “big 3” to be showing 18 negative stories to 1 positive story on her is just unfathomable.

Why have so many Americans turned against Palin, who made such a strong impression on the public when John McCain introduced her as his running mate at the Republican convention in September?  Most likely, it’s because the few good reports they’ve heard about the Alaska governor have been overwhelmed by a blizzard of bad reports. ABC, NBC and CBS news shows are covering Palin intensively, and they are running 18 negative stories for every positive one.

Network coverage of Palin has moved beyond criticism to outright ridicule.  Strikingly, all three networks have repeatedly aired clips of Palin being parodied by a comedy show, NBC’s Saturday Night Live, leading to concerns that many Americans are confusing the real Palin with SNL’s figure of fun.  When have comic impressions of a political figure ever qualified as hard news?

When is the last time you heard a story about the “glass ceiling” that was endlessly reported when Hillary was running?  I guess that isn’t a big deal if the allegedly anti-women conservatives select one.  Oh, wait a minute, that should be an even bigger news item!

They distort and replay alleged Palin gaffes repeatedly, but give Biden a pass and ignore Obama’s stammering whenever he doesn’t have a teleprompter.

Friendly reminder: Whatever you say about Palins’ alleged lack of experience goes double for Obama.  At least double.

Anyone who complains about Palin’s lack of experience but not Obama’s has a serious problem with rational thought and/or intellectual integrity.
