MommyZabs mentioned having a comments feed for my site. There may be other ways to accomplish this, but I found a way that works (at least for WordPress sites). Go to your feed reader (I’m using Google) and add http://4simpsons.wordpress.com/comments/feed/ as a subscription. It is basically the same feed address with “comments/” added before “feed/.”
Other suggestions are welcome!

does that mean it tracks all the comments for every post? is there a way to do a comments feed for individual posts?

Yes, it is all comments. I can’t figure a way to do just individual posts.

I use FeedBurner.com. It works great and allows you to track your users. It also allows people to choose a delivery method such as “email, RSS, ATOM, etc”
