Getting the Gospel right is crucial.  As you see in Philippians 1, Paul didn’t mind if people preached the Gospel in a way that harmed him, as long as they got it right.  But Galatians is all about correcting those who are distorting the Gospel in any way. 

Also, are you trying to please men, or God? If you can’t affirm, for example, that Jesus is anti-abortion and anti-LGBTQX perversions, then you may be in the former camp.

Judge Sentences Jussie Smollett to Jail; Hate Hoaxer Freaks Out Completely — It was so encouraging to see some justice for Jussie Smollett – and in Chicago, no less. I’m glad he got prison time, and I love how the judge whaled on him. 150 days is actually quite a bit, though of course, the biblical model would have been to give him the sentence his “attackers” would have gotten if they had been real.  I’ve done prison ministry for years and walked throughout three different prisons and even eaten in the cafeterias (ugh).  Believe me that even spending a weekend in a jail or prison – especially with the intake process — would be terrifying.
