False teachers abuse the “God is love” part by pretending that He is only about love.  If they bothered to read the next two verses, they’d see how God’s love manifests itself.  He loved us so much that He sent Jesus to be the propitiation for our sin.  Wolves hate the concept of propitiation.  Christians love it, because we know that we needed to have God’s just wrath satisfied.

1 John 4:8–10 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Our enemies abroad count missiles and ships, while mocking our enemies at home who count genders and victim classes.

“Just tell me what to say.” Back when The Simpsons was funny, they could poke fun at the idiocies of Leftism as well. They are too cowardly to do this today.

Jesus Calling is easily demonstrable poison, and it is sad that it has dominated Christian book sales for so long. The premise is absurd. If Jesus really talked to her and the author wrote it down word-for-word then it should be added to the Bible. But she obviously made it all up, because her fake Jesus talked to her like a romantic novelist and just “happened” to deliver his messages for a fixed time and in devotional-sized messages. Convenient, that. Lifeway has literally dozens of variants, including children’s books. Sick. The phenomenon is an indictment not just against Christian publishing, but against the church in general. It takes less than a minute to expose why the Jesus Calling genre is blasphemous garbage, yet churches don’t call it out.
