If the “Christian” Left “social justice warriors” like Jim “the Gospel is all about wealth redistribution” Wallis and his pro-abortion / pro-LGBTQX perversion Sojourners group were at all consistent, they would have denounced the racist torture of a disabled white boy by four black people. While I think the designation of “hate crimes” is foolish because it criminalizes thoughts, if this isn’t a hate crime then nothing is.
But these “Christian” Leftists have been almost completely silent. The only item on any of their Twitter feeds has been this by Wallis. And his concern wasn’t for the obvious racist crime and the state of the victim, but for the reputation of the Black Lives Matter terrorist organization.
Got that? Not a word of sympathy for the victim. Not a word of admonishment against the criminals. No acknowledgement of the racist nature of the crime or how the Left’s constant race-baiting may have been a factor. Just a reflexive defense of a truly wicked, racist organization. That’s Jim Wallis.
And the “Christian” Left is so busy spreading #fakenews about Sessions, Obamacare, why we should listen to Dan Rather about integrity, and more that they can’t be bothered to mention it. They haven’t said a single thing. Just as with the Kermit Gosnell murders, they are just counting on the media to let this go down the memory hole so they can get back to their shameless race-baiting.
And false teacher Rachel Held Evans is too busy pushing LGBTQX perversions to mention this crime.
Remember that these groups are pro-abortion extremists, wanting zero restrictions on abortions up to the child’s first breath. Abortions already murder blacks at a rate three times that of whites (and Hispanics at a 2x rate), and the “Christian” Left knows that rate would be higher with their goal of taxpayer-funded abortions. Policies that literally kill minorities in a wildly disproportionate way seem racist to me.
The aggressive lack of interest by the Left — including the “Christian” Left — on this horrific crime proves what we already knew: They like racial discord. They profit from it.
This is one of the many reasons to never trust the motives of the “Christian” Left. Nothing but bad fruit from diseased trees.
Matthew 7:15–20 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.
Eternity Matters 
I posted a comment about this, attached to a posted link from someone else, that this incident is not matched by any right-wing cases. In other words, it isn’t untypical of the left in general, even if at all opposed by specific leftists. Needless to say, that drew some outrage that I would dare even make a political connection to the incident. Yet, it is true nonetheless, and despite the protestations directed at me, articles regarding this incident clearly describe anti-Trump rhetoric from the attackers (as well as anti-white rhetoric). With a left-leaning media, it is unlikely that similar incidents perpetrated by right-wingers toward leftists wouldn’t elicit massive coverage, not to mention denigration galore.
But here, the racist, anti-Trump aspects are ignored, or minimized in favor of some other mitigating factor. One of the perps, the one the victim perceived as a friend, was also said to suffer from some mental issues. But what of the others? Aside from the heinous nature of the act, are they certified as mental cases as well? I’ve read nothing to suggest such a thing.
So whether or not racism or politics was a primary factor in provoking this behavior by the punks…it could have been a sick lark alone…those factors were indeed present and used to rationalize the behavioral choice.
