Please Don’t Say These Six Things at My Funeral – Good list.  I like #1: When I die, don’t say, “He was a good man.”  Don’t wait until I die, say it now, as often and as loudly as you can!  Seriously, don’t say it at all.

Don’t turn my funeral into a celebration of my moral resume. For one thing, I don’t have one. I’m guilty of far more immoral acts than moral ones. Secondly, even if I were the male equivalent of Mother Teresa, don’t eulogize me. Talk about the goodness of the Spirit who calls, gathers, enlightens, sanctifies, and keeps us in the true faith. Talk about our good Father who’s made us all His children in baptism. Talk about the good Husband that Christ is to His bride, the church. Don’t say, “He was a good man,” but “our good God loved this sinful man.”

Rep. Gohmert: Obama Wants $67,912 for Every Illegal Alien Minor – Our President is an enemy of the U.S.  Just ship the kids back to their countries for a few thousand dollars each and they flood of illegals will slow down to a trickle.

Pres. Obama is asking Congress for $3.7 billion – $67,912.28 per child – to deal with 57,000 minors illegally entering the U.S., Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) tweeted today.

But, the problem is more than money, Rep. Gohmert tells MRCTV, since Obama’s threats and imperial actions are sending “the message that America has become lawless”:

“His lawlessly announcing his one-man legislation allowing people to come illegally and stay illegally sent the message that America had become lawless and would not be enforcing our own border or laws. Now, demanding money or else he’ll allow even more devastation to our health, education and housing systems should not be condoned nor encouraged.”

The Festival Where ‘Christianity’ Is Just Earth Worship – These Leftists masquerading as Christians get more bizarre every year.  In a weird way it is good, because anyone following them is obviously not interested in following the one true God.

Every year, Hot Springs, North Carolina hosts the Wild Goose Festival, a four-day musical and spiritual festival marketed towards Progressive Christians. This year, I made the trip to catalogue the more outrageous presentations, speeches, and goings-on. There was the usual contingent of liberal heroes such as Sojourner’s Jim Wallis, “Moral Mondays” leader Dr. William Barber, and Frank Schaeffer, a self-described “Christian atheist.” There were all the overwrought panels on topics such as “Post Traumatic Church Syndrome” and “First Decolonize Your Mind.” But easily, the most bizarre highlight of the trip was the Carnival de Resistance.

According to a promotional email, the Carnival de Resistance is an “art intervention” experiment determined to “[throw] off the yoke of social niceties, restless sanitation, and religious piety to provide a raucous expression of grief and longing and hope for Creation.” Besides their performances, the Carnival also promised to transform “shape-shifting-trickster-style” into a village touting “energy alternatives and attempt various sustainable practices in regard to food, waste, and transportation.”
