Christians. The original diversity group.

Christians.  The original diversity group.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 3:28

When we had a Christian employee network group at Compaq that was one of our tag lines (that was before HP came along and decided our organization was too controversial). Not sure what reminded me of that, but I still like the sentiment.

Christianity is the ultimate in diversity. Any age, race, gender, etc. can repent and believe and be saved. It doesn’t matter who your parents were. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done. It doesn’t matter who you know (uh, except Jesus). It doesn’t matter how much money you have.  It doesn’t matter how smart you are.  It doesn’t matter what social rung or caste you are in.

Just repent and believe.

  1. I like this Neil , and it’s cool to be a part of the original diversity group. If you hear some body you would never think Christianity is so inclusive.

  2. HI Syinly,

Yes, it is ironic that even “inclusive” religions like Hinduism are offended by the “exclusive” views of Christianity.

It is exclusive in the sense that Jesus is the only way to salvation. The Bible couldn’t be more clear in the Old and New Testaments that there are many false gods and they are not to be worshiped.

But it is inclusive in the sense that it is there for anyone. That’s good news!

  3. So all these people who complain that Christianity is exclusive need not complain. All they have to do is apply for membership themselves, and they become included as well.

  4. And Dan Trabue, who we are presently having a discussion (Did I say discussion? I mean argument) withover at “American Descent” claims Christians are not persecuted in this country. And I thought Kentucky was part of the US.
