Fort Worth Episcopals vote to leave liberal denomination – Good for them.  This letter from the Ft. Worth Bishop really highlights the irreconcilable differences between them and the national church.

Bible believers don’t belong with non-Bible believers.  There are reasons the Bible teaches us not to be unequally yoked.  I hope that the United Methodist Church either splits along the same lines or that the middle grounders realize that the splits are expensive and time-consuming and quit humoring the pro-gay groups by giving them an audience.  As a bonus we’d get rid of the pro-legalized abortion crowd that pushes for the church to support the vile Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice.

The apostate United Church of Christ worked hard to defeat Proposition 8 in California.  Uh, why haven’t I heard the “separation of church and state” folks complaining about that?  Where are the calls to remove their tax exempt status as there are for orthodox Christian groups who support Prop 8?  The hypocritical media and liberals just ignore things like this.

The next time you hear the “separation” canard, which fails on multiple levels, ask the person why they don’t speak out against theologically liberal churches.

Remember McCarthyism and how liberals still use the term so reflexively?  It turns out that blacklisting is OK as long as liberals are doing it.  Don’t hold your breath waiting for movies and books on this one.

China is doing organ harvesting from live and unwilling patients – I wonder if Postmoderns (the “truth is relative” crowd) just shrug their shoulders and write it off to cultural differences.  Or is this one of those things that everyone can agree is just wrong?

World asked to help craft online charter for religious harmony – Time for a group hug!  Maybe these smart, rich folks will start in the Middle East and get the Muslims on board first.  Any self-proclaimed Christians who participate in this are either saved and confused (and I mean seriously confused) or they are not Christians at all.  Jesus was not a pluralist.  Should we be kind to people of other faiths and non-believers?  Of course.  You can’t coerce faith, and the Bible is clear in how to present the Gospel.  But should we even hint that we can both be right?  Never!

Obama is anti-2nd Amendment and will appoint Supreme Court judges who share his views.  Remember when he said he wouldn’t go after guns and then slipped and added that it was because he “didn’t have the votes?”  Hat tip: Ms. Green

  1. We are all aware that over 70% of black voters in California voted in favor of Proposition 8. I can’t help but chuckle at the irony of a Proposition 8blacklist!

    Best,

  2. Neil, re the religious charter for harmony: The list of “sages” are seasoned heretics, especially Desmond Tutu and Joan Brown. Joan Chissiter is an open lesbian.

This is nothing more that a creative invitation to idol worship. This is that toxic one world religion junk, plain and simple. Either the cross stands alone, or it is of none effect. The people behind this hideous document deny Jesus his rightful place as the ONLY way to God.

  3. re: religious harmony –

The Bahaists called. They want their religion back.

I’ve seen lots of the TED talks and, you would think those guys would know the basis that A != B.

Abraham, Moses, Buddha, Zoroaster, Christ and Muhammad taught different things. If you don’t think so, go live in Saudi Ariba, bring your MTV, your Bible, a suitcase and a gun. If you are a woman, good luck getting a drivers license.

    Go get them Karen.

  4. Ah, the UCC. I’ve lost my patience with them. I believe I shall start my search after January, when my term as Council President ends. Damned heretics!
