Will we learn from Europe’s mistakes?

world-map.gifConsider these options:

  • Good: Learn from your mistakes
  • Better: Learn from other people’s mistakes
  • Best: Read the Bible and avoid mistakes

Europe has given the following message to God: Get out.  They are closing churches and opening mosques at a rapid rate.  They naively think that Muslims want to assimilate, but the truth is they have no intention of doing so.  They want to infiltrate and then subject the infidels to Sharia law.

America’s leaders don’t seem to be learning from this.

Here’s a mystery: In post-9/11 America, why does Islam have favored status and why has its image improved relative to Christianity?  Islam is anti-women’s rights, anti-freedom, virulently anti-gay and anti-abortion, etc.  My hypothesis is that many liberals simply hate Christianity, and they fall victim to the “my enemy’s enemy is my friend” line of thinking.

Do you think radical Islamists are serious?  Do you think they will use nuclear weapons if they get them?  I do.

We will not rest from our Jihad until we are under the olive trees of Rumieh and we have destroyed the dirty black house — which is called the White House” – al-Muhajir

Naivete’ is not a virtue.

  1. Good reminder. I think you hit it on the head, they hate Christ. They would rather be subjected to Sharia Law, that submit willingly to the King of kings. Remember the hatred for Christ in His earthly ministry landed Him on the cross. The liberals/non believers in this country wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.

  2. Look at what happened to Hezekiah who said..

“…there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.”

Leaders in this and other nations, believing themselves to be good hosts, have been too welcoming of foreigners and their alien ideologies– specifically Islam. Believing themselves to be wise, in that they choose to believe what comes out of the Islmamists’ mouth rather than what the Qur’an teaches the Islamist, they have become complete and utter fools.

If they reject the Bible as having any relevance for the thoroughly “moral” modern man, why would they take the Qur’an seriously? They wish only to show that they are enlightened and gracious and accepting of other cultures…

…while we are bigots, Islamophobes, homophobes, hate-mongers, who have lost touch with the true meanings behind the teaching of Jesus.

    Sad but true.

I am therefore thankful that I live in the generation that will see the return of Christ.

  3. For those who have not read the Bible, particularly the book of Revelation, it is easy to assume that Allah must be more powerful than God and Islam must be the true faith.

I think that is why we were given that book.We know that God said these times would come, and it only confirms his identity when these things come to pass. When I get really upset about the things going on in the world, I remember that God’s plan must be fulfilled.

For me, the hardest thing is all of those who are likely to be lost. Still I trust God and try to do his will, for I know that the end will come, one way or another, for however long the world has left; my time is limited.

  4. I just started thinking, if thinking about those who are lost is hard for me, what must it be for God who knows them. God has promised to dry our tears, but who will dry his for all those who reject him.

For something to make you think, watch “A Letter from Hell” on GodTube.com.

  5. Islam is anti-women’s rights, anti-freedom, virulently anti-gay and anti-abortion, etc.

No kidding. It tells us a lot about the heirarchy in the Left’s line of thinking: multiculturalism and anti-Christianity are WAAAAY more important than women’s rights, abortion “rights”, gay rights, and the like. In fact, it is waaay more important than pagan and atheist rights, too – after all, the Koran at least allows Muslims to spare those who are “of the Book,” but mandates that atheists and pagans die.

A VERY HAPPY (one day belated) BIRTHDAY TO SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

  6. Timothy,

A quick defence of atheists and agnostics: not all of us are anti-religion…. Not all of us run around saying that Christians can’t wait to start up the Crusades again and slaughter everyone in sight. 🙂

Other than that, I completely agree.
